Pokemon: The Endgame Plot

A budding new Pharmaceutical Company known as Endgame Industries has revolutionized Pokemon Training and Battling forever. Claiming to have unlocked the secrets of the Pokemon Ancestor Mew's DNA, Endgame has created what they call the Nero Formula. Nero utilizes the power of Mew's DNA to take a Pokemon to its maximum potential and beyond, with no harm to the Pokemon it is applied to. Few questioned how Endgame aquired Mew DNA, despite the fact that Mew sightings had stopped coming in completely within the last few years. Nero became a hot commodity after rookie trainer Cory Abaddon dominated the Kanto Pokemon League and attributed his success to Nero. The demand for Nero grew to excruciating degrees, but mysteriously the rookie Endgame Industries was able to keep the demands filled without trouble. The older Pokemon trainers frowned on the use of Nero, but it didn't stop the majority from using it to the point that it was so commonly used that if anyone wished to compete in Pokemon Battling, they must use Nero themselves if they even wish to stand a chance.

Then, Endgame's claim of no negative side effects coming from the use of Nero is proven wrong. Pokemon exposed to Nero turn on their Trainers without warning and run away. The Nurses at the Pokemon claim that the formula drove them insane, though some psychics claim there is something controlling the Nero-exposed Pokemon.

As trainers rush to store their Pokemon in their PCs, they find Bill's PC has been hacked into and use of it is barred. All Pokemon in the PC have been exposed to Nero and they have escaped.

You are a trainer that refused to use Nero on your Pokemon. With all the Pokemon exposed to the formula becoming wild beasts, its up to you, your fellow trainers, and your Nero-less Pokemon to unravel the mystery. You all have recently returned from a Tournament that only allowed use of three Pokemon, so you are now stuck with merely three Pokemon with you and the rest of yours have been exposed to Nero and are feral.

RP Sample: (This I can do!) (From A Hero's Curse)Teria placed her hand against the rough wall of her house. The red brick of the wall gave her a feeling of comfort. She closed her dark eyes and laid her forehead against the stone. It was cool and for a moment she forgot about her worries. The air around her was clear and chilly and the only sound was the soft rustle of leaves blown about by the wind.

A sudden surge of pain broke her peaceful mood. Her muscles twitched as she lifted her head and opened her eyes. How long was she going to have to fight this? How many more times would she have to feel pain and know that this time, she might not be able to fight it off.

It had only been about half a month since Ino's death. Two and a half weeks to be precise. It had been very hard keeping herself alive during that time. She had watched as people around her succumb to the curse laid upon all of them. Her city had been severely damaged by three who had gone on rampages and people now lived in fear of it happening again. She wondered vaguely if there were others left besides her. Probably, she thought to herself, I can't be the only one who managed to fight off the curse. There must be others like me. Perhaps here, in this city. It's unlikely, but I can't simply give up. I really ought to look for them. How hard could it be to find them?

She turned from her house and sighed. Her parents and two sisters were in the city hiding in one of the shelters. They knew about her Abilities and hadn't argued when she said she wasn't going with them. They knew it was for the best though it was very hard to say goodbye to them. She knew perfectly well that all of them never thought they would see her again and she felt the same way. Eventually she would be caught by an attack when she couldn't fight it off and it would kill her. She only hoped she wouldn't be one of those to go on a rampage. On the other hand, there was always the chance that there was a way to end the curse. Well, if there was, she'd never find it out here. She had to find others with Abilities that had survived. They'd have a much better chance of finding a cure if there were lots of them than only one. That was surely the best option.

Teria nodded silently to herself. She removed her hand from the side of her home and stepped back, surveying it sadly. Would this be the last time she saw it? She hoped not. With another sigh she closed her eyes and leapt into the air. Two wings sprouted from her back and carried her into the sky.

I'll finish this as soon as my brain starts working again. I think I've been exposed to too much school.

Appearence: Saka has green hair, along with green eyes, and her skin is slightly tanned. Her hair is spiked up, almost looking like two Oddish's leaves when they're both back-to back. She wears goggles around her neck and has a dark tan long-sleeve shirt, with the bottom being a forest green, the same color as her hair and eyes. Saka wears dark brown gloves, which happen to be the same shade as her pants, which go all the way down to her ankles. Her shoes are a darker shade of green than her hair, but is still the same color. The rubber bottoms of the shoes are the tan of her shirt. She has a golden bracelet on each arm, right above her gloves.

Reason for Opposing Nero: Saka felt that using an enhancement was a pathetic wimp's way of battling.

Appearence: Steven is tall and skinny with brown eyes and black hair he has dark skin his hair is very messy. He wears a black t-shirt and blue jeans, he also wears a red had with a pokeball on it and he also wears a blue sweat jacket with yellow stripes and pull strings.

Personality:Steven has a very quiet personailty he is a really smart thinker and has respect for all living organism's he is very active and nice and he is a hard worker, and he does his best to raise all the Pokemon he captures he always gives it a hundered percent when it comes to Pokemon training.

Trainer's History: Steven was very very rich as a child he was very popular but atlas he had no friends he basically spent most of his time observing Pokemon then his mom went missing and his dad died orphaned Steven decided to abandon his rich livestyle and become a Pokemon Trainer around age 10 since then he has treated his Pokemon like faimly.




RP Sample: Steven stood in a field he was trying to see if he could make Houndoom stop begin so reblious "Houndoom return!" he cried he called Houndoom back but Houndoom ran off he chased after Houndoom in the fields as he ran he thought about how his other Pokemon had become feral after that Tourment then he ran into a forest after Houndoom. "This place it's it's so happy." he said he looked around at the nice lush paradise then at the lake he saw Houndoom playing with a stick "Houndoom time to get back in your Pokeball!" Steven called out Houndoomm looked at Steven and fired a Flamethower at him Steven jumped out of the way "I don't know what am I going to do with Houndoom." he cried he ran off deeper into the Forest.

Steven came into another grassy field all sorts of grass Pokemon and Houndoom played in the field 3 Bollosom danced happily and a Venvasuar pulled a apple off of a near by tree Houndoom saw Steven again it thought about playing with Steven to make him mad "Houndooooom!" it cried shooting a blast of flames at him all the happy little grass Pokemon ran off then Steven remembred what happened with the other Pokemon.......

"Houndoom! Return now!" Steven got mad at Houndoom for begin such raged up and scaring away all the other Pokemon he threw Houndoom's Pokeball at it and it was incased he picked up Houndoom's Pokeball "Now please stay in the ball this time!" Steven yelled then Houndoom popped back out "Houndoom stop come back!" he cried he chased after Houndoom some more.

Sounds like fun. I have a question: do our pokemon's movesets have to correspond with there levels? By that i mean can i have a pokemon learn a lower level more at a higher level?

Appearance:Mike is short and somewhat built. He has been blind since age 5. His hair is a very dark black, and sticks up in all directions. His shirt is a darker red, and his pants are black denim. He wears a vest over his shirt, black like his pants. He wears a bucket hat; black to match his hair. He wears really old, beat-up running shoes. His skin is lightly tanned.

Personality: Mike is very intelligent. He goes into every battle with a strategy already divised. He is very independent, only exepting help from his Pokemon. He is very stubborn and arrogant. He has a very short temper. Despite that, he is also very kind and generous to everyone and everything, especially Pokemon. This leads people to think he has multiple personality disorder, which would be accurate.

Reason for opposing Nero: Thought is was too good to be true, suspected problems would arise adventually.

Personality: Aggresive. Stubborn and arrogant like Mike. The first pokemon he caught.

Personality: Confident and doesnt give up. Recently caught. Not much else known.

Trainer's History: Mike has had a interesting life. His mother died while giving birth to him. At age 5, a non-fatal, genetic disease affected him, causing him to lose his sight. Despite both of these, he was still very independent. The only beings he would except help from was his father, and the vulpux he got from his dad. He was very secluded, and never really had friends. He slowly developed multiple personality disorder, which actually help his battling skills; each of his personalities would think things through before he did anything.

RP Sample: (From The Elemental Stones)(great, another new person. at least this one seems to have a strong spirit) I thought. The three of us, ace, the new kid named Daisuke, and I reached the elder's tower and saw they were out for lunch, and wouldnt be back for another half hour. "well, we have a half hour to burn, what to do?" i asked. Then i noticed 6 pokemon headed towards us. Ace had engaged a elekid and a dratini. He caught the elekid and beat the dratini very easily. "Good job, Ace. Maybe you could beat me in a pokemon battle." I said. (Well i guess its my turn) I thought. There were still 4 pokemon: Numel, Horsea, Farfetch'd, and sandshrew. (I guess ill try to catch the numel, and beat the Farfetch'd) "Let's go, Charmander, use Leer and then scracth on the numel!" I ordered. Charmander rushed from my side and hit numel directly with a leer, and landed the scracth directly. Farfecth'd came in for a Peck. "Charmander, dodge, and use scracth!" Charmander dodged, but only barely, and landed the scracth, critical hit. Then numel got up, and tried to tackle. "Charmander, leer again, and then scracth!" Charmander's leer missed, and numel tried to tackle again, while charmander, used scracth. Charmander hit, numel missed. "Good job, Charmander, now scracth on Farfetch'd while i catch numel. Pokeball go!" I caught the numel. Unfortunatly, charmander got hit with sand-attack, then with repeated pecks. "Charmander, return! Grwolithe, go finish it off with tackle." Growlithe easily fainted the already weakened Farfetch'd. (Wow this is the first time Charmander has ever been in a Pokeball) I thought. It had seemed both Charmander and Growlithe have leveled up, and both had learnt ember. "Finally, a fire attack"

Personality: Xavier is rather easy to get along with, unless you wrong him or one of his best friends. Then your on your own. Its hard to earn his trust if you wrong him or a friend. He is a giving, kind person, but if you get on his bad side, he can become your worst enemy.

Reason for Opposing Nero: Hates the fact that Nero is messing with everyones pokemon, turning them into monsters.

Pokemon Arcanine (Appocolypse), Umbreon (Shadow), and Grovyle (Seeder)

Trainer's History: Xavier grew up on an Island between Kanto and Johto, so many pokemon where out of his reach. Most of his childhood is a blur to him because so little happened. When he turned 14 he left with the one pokemon he found in search of more. He ended up going to many places finding many new pokemon and becoming a strong trainer. After many 3 years of battling, he kept four pokemon with him. Two from Johto, one from Kanto, and one from Hoenn. He rasied his pokemon well, so when time for this tournament he had an easy time picking his three pokemon. After all pokemon were introduced to the Nero virus, he decided to fight against it and all who pushed for it.

Trainer Name: Ray Nirew (N-I-roo)

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: Not much on the handsome side. His friends he once knew told him he had the face and body only a mother could love; yet they still persisted with the pictures. Some of his friends would say he looked like a Spearow with his hair and nose shape. His eyes were a dark blue that seemed to have a shade of redness and anger when he pretends to be serious, then they say he looks creepy. He wears the right clothes; nothing too exposing and nothing that would say he was a punk. He was just right.

Personality: Not so deep inside, he's actually a pretty nice guy. He'll get things done and he knows when something goes too far joke-wise or reality wise. He thinks himself that Nero was something that went FAR off. Likely knowing how to make a joke, he may also not make a good one most of the times. He's not much of a comedian. Give him a few seconds and he'll come up with the answer, because sometimes, it just doesn't register in his mind the first time.

Reason for Opposing Nero: Despite having a name that sounds like an almost exact to what they are opposing, Ray's family hates Nero with a passion. Ray didn't care much for Nero and thought that if they wanted to do what they were doing, just let them, but because of his family, he was biased to make the statement of appearance saying that he didn't like Nero, and never used it, even if he ever decided he wanted to. Because of the events, he was glad he hadn't used Nero.

Gender: Male
Level: 31, going on 32
Personality: Though his type would be a wild type, Ray trained through hard work to teach Sableye when a laughing matter is and when is a serious one, to keep in control.

Sandslash
Gender: Male
Level: 31
Personality: Sandslash was on Ray's last list to train completely due to obtaining him from his older brother. Because of that, he has a hard time having Sandslash like him, even though he has the badges required to show how good a trainer he is. Likewise, Ray had to deal with it, and just barely got through with having him stay and hear him out. He was now training him to not only hear, but listen and do what he asks of.

Sneasel
Gender: Female
Level: 29
Personality: Sneasel was always the back-up before Sandslash came into the picture. She was the teams secret weapon to Ray. Ray had believed that Sneasel had a power hidden within her that she didn't know about, and knew that if practiced, the power could be released. But then he discarded the idea and just took it as she was strong for her type and level. Using that, he would always win. Of course, he still trained her like his other team members. Due to this prior attention, Sneasel's personality is just a "I'm a but kicker and am strong" mixed with "I feel compassion but sometimes not for you."

Trainer's History: Ray had a very long learning experience for a life. One after the other, and it wasn't just Pokemon. It was just being there. He always found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time, or to his enemies, just at the right time. But he never gave up. When he was first off on an adventure, he told his parents that he'd be okay. Sadly he was mistaken several times, but that was the life of a trainer. And with each event, another revelation about life. Knowing this from the bonds he made with his Pokemon, Ray captured and befriended more and more. He felt full and happy. Nero didn't change a thing; it was because of his family that he never got near Nero. He never cared about it, but was always curious. Would you be curious about something that sounded like your name?

RP Sample: Ray leaned against the side of an empty house. He was no longer in the loud stadium noises and was back to reality. Though reality seemed to become a dream.

According to reality, Pokemon have gone Cuckoo. And according to reality, so have his other Pokemon in the PC system gone Cuckoo. And according to reality, he was one of the few that still had Pokemon. Yikes, that's pretty scary, seeing as the human mind from one who has lost a Pokemon to Nero will grow…a bit as Cuckoo as them, and then eventually want to breed those who don't have the Cuckoos. Now that's Cuckoo.

Still, Ray didn't need to do anything about it. His family and a small amount of people warned and warned, but they didn't listen. If they wanted to do this, they did this. This was their entire fault. Ray's family had a theory that maybe no one has ever caught a Mew and gotten DNA from one. Maybe it was just a trick to cover up a steroid-ish medicine.

Either way, if it worked like steroids, then by Ray's book, it was steroids. And now the innocent had to deal with it. To Ray, that pretty much sucks to be them.

Nothing he could do about it. All he could do was stand by, and wait to see the world around him crumble. Wait for the world to destroy Nero creators. That thought made Ray smile. But he knew that wouldn't happen.

Many people passed by, some looking puzzled and lost. Ray stopped one and said, "Hey, it's alright. It's not the end of the world just yet. There's a plan, I know it." the person just looked at him strangely then left on his way.

Like every situation, there was a solution. There had to be. There's always a back-up. Ray would give it a day or two before he would have his PC Pokemon back. It couldn't last longer than a day, right?

Personality:Nathan is very quick on his feet, if someone throws something at him and if he turns his head and see's it coming, he will almost automatically move out of the way.He likes to jump into things, such as challenges and competitions.He likes to buy into trends but hates gossip, even though he may start it.He always wants to be the hero and help people.

Reason for opposing Nero:Nathan may buy into trends but he doesn't kid when it comes to his Pokémon, he doesn't believe in an easy way to train his Pokémon, he does it the old fashion way.He also apposes Nero because they harm the Pokémon and are disrupting the Pokémon's natural balance.

Personality: Pigeot is Nathans most reliable source of transportation.Pigeot is a Pokémon that uses more offensive moves to mess with it's opponents, then attack them.Pigeot thinks before she acts.If she were all alone she would be able to survive for a long time just by making the opponent get confuse.

Trainer's History:As a kid Nathan always dreamed of being a Pokémon master and save people with his Pokémon, and be everyone's hero.As he grew up he started getting more and more interested in Pokémon, then one day when he was trying to get home he found an eevee sick in the forest he was going through, so he picked it up and took it to a Pokémon center.When the eevee woke up and was all better it was all happy and active and wouldn't leave back to the forest because he liked Nathan, and that is how he caught his eevee.After training and catching new Pokémon, Nathan entered into a tournament and chose his eevee, pigeot, and swampert.But when he got out of the tournament, he figured out about the PC's being affected and all of his other Pokémon being changed and then swore to get revenge on Nero.

Nathan was sitting on the nice, green and fresh grass in a forest and trying to get food out from his back pack when his eevee jumped out from behind a tree and started to tackle Nathan.Nathan then got up, seeing that eevee want to play, and started to mes with him.After a while, Nathan got tired and pulled out one of his poke'balls.He then threw the poke'ball and out came his pigeot.Nathan asked pigeot if she would play with eevee so he could finish his food and pigeot looked at Nathan like she really didn't want to and that it was to much trouble.Nathan reached for his pack and took out a shiny apple, then told pigeot that if she played with eevee then she would get an apple,Pigeot then looked at the apple, then at eevee and at the apple again and nodded her head.Nathan then thanked Pigeot and got back to eating his food.As pigeot played with eevee, Nathan was thinking of how they would get Nero back for affecting his other Pokémon.Nathan really missed his other Pokémon and then a small tear rolled down his face, remembering all of them playing together.Nathan got up and told his eevee to get back in his poke'ball, so Nathan then told pigeot to go look for a Pokémon center so they would have a place to sleep.Pigeot then took off and after a couple of minutes she came back and began to lead Nathan to the center.On the way there, they meet up with a caterpie that seemed to be really mean and Nathan thought that it must be a Pokémon that was affected by Nero.Nathan knew what he had to do, so he told pigeot to use quick attack.The caterpie was much faster than a normal caterpie, so it dodged the attack and used string shot on pigeot's wings.Nathan then told pigeot to fly higher into the air.As pigeot shot up into the air, caterpie fallowed.Nathan then told pigeot to dive straight down, then right before hitting the ground, Nathan told pigeot to do aerial ace.Pigeot then stopped from hitting the ground and aimed up.The caterpie then hit the ground because of the way pigeot moved, then fell off.Nathan told pigeot to use one last attack and that was hyper beam.Pigeot used the attack and the caterpie was hit and was injured badly.Nathan had to do one thing and that was to drop it off at the Pokémon center.Once at the Pokémon center, Nathan dropped off the caterpie, returned pigeot to it's poke'ball and headed for the bed rooms and sleeps.

Reason for Opposing Nero: Selenity believes that training your pokemon and unlocking their powers together is where the real fun is.

Gender: Female

Appearence: Around 5'5, a shorty. She has long black hair with purple streaks in it. Her bangs cover one of her eyes, and she has a purple stripe in the middle of her bangs. She has bright green eyes, and has a light tan skin tone. She wears a black tanktop with a red and black jacket over it, unzipped. She has blue ripped jeans, and wears brown sandals. She has thick black-rimmed glasses, and has a blue star on her exposed cheek.

Personality: Karana has a very neutral personality. Unfortunately, she has a split one. When she's in her neutral personality, she is very calm, and indifferent about things. When her personality switches, she becomes very violent, harming any and everything. Her other personality is triggered by either a great loss or very depressing news. She's also a very good cook. She is very kind to all and every Pokemon, and feels like they are her only true friends. When it comes to talking to the opposite sex, she is very shy, like most girls.

Reason for Opposing Nero: She believes it's cruel and unusual for the Pokemon to be treated like just tools for fighting and making stronger, therefore opposing Nero. She also hates them because of her family(read trainer history).

Personality: Since Chikorita was Karana's starter Pokemon, she feels very attatched to her, and has the closest bond to her.

Personality: Togepi is the baby of Karana's three Pokemon, but looks can be decieving, as this Togepi is very strong and bold.

~Bellosom~
Gender: Female
Level: 30
Personality: A very sweet and kind Pokemon, especially to Pokemon of her type. Roselia is like a mother to Togepi.

Trainer's History: Karana was born into a very wealthy family, who was heavily affiliated with the creation of the Nero Formula. Upon getting her first Pokemon, her parents wanted her to test the formula on her. She upbruptly said no, and took off, leaving her family behind, also fueling a growing hate for the formula. She had only her Chikorita with her, and her hopes and dreams. She hasn't returned home or spoken to any members of her family since she ran away, and hopes to never do so. She recieved her Togepi when she found an egg as she travelled around. Her Roselia was found in the wild, against her Chikorita, who won, and then she captured her. She also had an Oddish, Eevee, and Magmar, but lost them in a tournament she entered. Losing her Pokemon in the tournament fueled her hate for the Nero Formula even more.

RP Sample: Drops of sweat trickled down her neck as she walked in the blazing heat. Karana then placed her hand on her forehead, wiping the sweat off her face.

"Jeez! Why is it so hot!" she exclaimed, pulling her long black hair in a ponytail.

She continued walking until she spotted a river, her eyes then twinkled in the sunlight. She called out Chikorita, Togepi, and Roselia. Togepi immediatly ran to the river, but Roselia stopped him. Chikorita yawned and sat down next to the river. Karana met up with her Pokemon and petted Chikorita on the head. Chikorita smiled and used her Vine Whip attack to retrieve an apple from a nearby tree.

"Man, I don't know about you guys, but this heat is making me sleepy!"

Karana's three Pokemon just stared at her blankly as she yawned. Chikorita walked over to Togepi and lied down next to him. Roselia then went to the tree and used her Razor Leaf to get an apple for Togepi and herself. She threw the apple to Togepi, who caught it mid-air, and ate it happily. Roselia took a bite out of it and returned to her place next to Togepi. Karana stood up, brushed herself off and then aqcuired an apple for herself. She yawned again as she looked into the distance, where she saw some Oddish playing in a patch of bushes. Seeing those Oddish reminded her of her Oddish, making her mad...
