As Harry followed the group out of the looming pokemon center, he watched as a tense scene unfolded before him. Ryo, insulted by John's comments, felt a need to defend himself and his "friend" Marina. Two strong-willed players on the field of life...
Even when Ryo asked Harry a simple, friendly question, Harry had little time to respond before John had evilly commented about Ryo and a rebellion. A look of evil has completely spread over John's face, his entire body eminated his feelinds.
Even worse, he called out his Pikachu. This cute, yet powerful pokemon soon proved its dedication to John, when a stream of electricity struck the sky, creating a lightning storm of immense proportions. Several clouds began to gather, perhaps attracted by the charge in the electromagnetic field. Harry knew little about the weather, yet enough to know that a storm wasn't something desirable.
Ryo, in response to John's immense actions, quickly responded with a fire spin by his Charmander. This funnel of flames, surrounded the two, protecting them from the stray, random bolts that struck from the sky. He was protected, but no one else was.
"John!" Harry yelled above the storm, momentarily forgetting the nickname. "We need to stay away from the open streets! If any of us is hit, we could end up severly injured or dead!"
Of course, by then, it was too late. John, in a wild attempt to save Ryo's Charmander, God knows why, felt the immense pain of the lightning.
Harry, seeing the research building ahead, quickly ran to it with the rest of the group, each second looking back towards the injured John, following behind.
The insane dash paid off and eventually all the group had made it to the building. Though when Harry finally turned around to see John, he could see he had fainted from the intense power that had ripped through him.
