Hi! I'm new to role-playing, so I might not be the best at role-paying. Don't mind me if I'm terrible at it!
Name: Caitlin Dunken
 Age: 16
 Gender: Female
 Personality:She is very talkative when around her friends and family. Although Caitlin is quite shy when she meets new people, she's a nice person to be around. Caitlin is squeamish of insects or any bug-like creature that so happens to unfortunately crosses her path.

Caitlin can't do being alone. Being another ghost in the background was not a life Caitlin can live with. People think she's just another girl who walks around the street with her hands stuffed in her pockets. No one in particular liked Caitlin. Sure, they think she's OK. But Caitlin prefers the life of popularity.
 Appearance:Caitlin is a tall pale-skinned girl with dark brown eyes and shinly long brown hair. She likes to wear quite colourful clothing, such as mini skirts and vests and all. Caitlin is taller than most students in her school
 History: Caitlin is the only child in her family, Her parents always looked after her like any child. But ever since Caitlin opened the box, her life has changed. Sure Caitlin's life was bland. The only thing that had bribed her to open the box was her curiosity.

Caitlin was a popular student at her school, there wasn't a moment without her friends beside her. But one day her parents had to move. Thoughts shrouded head thinking about what life would be without her friends. Life was bland for Caitlin. One day, while she was lounging around her house, she noticed something in the post. That was the thing that had changed her.

Name: Katharine "Kate" Anderson

Age: 16

Gender: female

Personality: Kate tends to be… A good quality about Kate is… Let's just say that Kate's unique. She likes to come off as a girly-girl (because, like, they, like, aren't expected to do so many, like, hard things), but she's a tomboy at heart. While she was properly trained in Middle School the art of verbal attacks, if you get her angry enough you'd do well to brace yourself for a fist in your face and her knee in your stomach. She can slip in and out of her carefully crafted semblance of Future High-School Prom Queen with ease, often shocking people with her drastic changes in personality. She tends to be rash when she becomes emotional about something and doesn't always think her actions through before she goes through with her current train of thought. Her temper is rather short and she is easily put-off by uncomfortable situations. She will hold her own in any face-off, whether it be a physical fight of a verbal sparring match, and won't give up her stance until she is unconscious or in some other way unable to keep fighting. While Kate tends to be a social creature, she is not the best at making or maintaining relationships. She tends to be hypercritical of other peoples' shortcomings and will often make sure that they don't forget their limitations. Kate is, however, a natural flirt and a brilliant moocher and knows just what to say to get what she wants or seem a certain way and is actually rather good at getting people excited and motivating them. While she likes to keep her position of feeling superior to those around her, she is easily convinced to (or provoked to prove herself by someone into) getting "down and dirty" with the people around her. But under all these… honestly unattractive personality traits, Kate really is just out to find her place to fit in and is itching to leave behind the shallow hair-and-makeup life she made for herself.

Appearance: When Kate was still a human, she fit the typical stereotype of peppy cheerleader girl. She had long perfectly-straightened blonde hair with highlights and bright blue eyes. She was always wearing the latest fashions and would never be caught dead in anything that didn't come from Abercrombie and Fitch or any other store of that sort. Kate was always perfectly made up for whatever event was going on and always seemed perfectly comfortable in her own skin. Years of competitive cheer and cross-country, however, left Kate with a well-toned body.

But now as an Eevee, Kate, understandably, looks rather different. While her fur is the brown of a typical Eevee, it tends to take on a blonde sheen. She has a rather long and slender build, though her shoulders are broad and she retained her strength from her human body. Her eyes remained bright blue, as when she was a human, and she still possesses the unmistakable air of confidence as she did as a human.

History: Kate grew up as a normal all-American girl, her parents encouraging her to do all sorts of different activities, though Kate immediately became interested in less refined activities than the other females in her age-group. While most girls her age took ballet, Kate signed up for karate and spent her summers at her uncle's farm horseback riding and swimming. It was only once she reached the magical time of Middle School that she abandoned these things in pursuit of more… popular activities. Now she spent much of her time Facebooking and texting her friends in order to maintain her carefully cultivated social network and, as a result, her position as reigning queen of the Junior class. Her family had become abruptly rich when Kate was in Middle School after her mother's small business became a nation-wide success, allowing Kate to be free of the responsibility of getting a job and allowing her to take part in many extracurricular activities such as cross-country and competitive cheer. Despite her hectic social and sport life, and her overall appearance of a bubble-head, Kate managed to snag just shy of a 4.0 in school, though she obviously never told her friends about this little detail.

One day during the summer, Kate trudged home in the unseasonable rain after being ditched by her friends at the beach. She walked in the door, planning to take a hot shower and then go on a smear campaign on Facebook like nobody had seen before when she saw a package resting on her doorstep addressed to her. Though Kate had a feeling that there would be some lame dungeons-and-dragons game inside or something, she couldn't help but give into her curiosity and open it. But the moment she tore the paper away, Kate's world went black.

Name: Sumner Ekhardt

 Age: 17

 Gender: Male

 Personality: For as long as anyone can remember Sumner has been a total and complete wise guy. It's always been the thing that makes, or breaks his relationships with other people. Ever since he was young Sumner thought of the broadness of the universe and how the narcissism of people blinded them. (By young I mean roughly 12 or 13) He founds it hilarious that people would find ways to wrap the universe around themselves and how even the most intelligent of scientists can be the most close minded people. He feels that because of this it would be idiotic not to laugh at people and society in general. For Sumner everything is fair game and although this would earn him the respect and admiration of many at the same time he would be labeled as an idiot or as outragously annoying by others.

Don't misunderstand, Sumner still feels emotions and helps his friends in need, it's just when they arent in need he has the urge to poke fun at something. When it comes to school Sumner is of higher than average intelligence but when it comes to sports, the only ones he is any good at are those of the contact variety course he's never allowed to play because of his back problems. When Sumner has a goal or determination he is always sure to follow through and persevere until his cause becomes completely hopeless.

 Appearance: As an average human Sumner is quite a large fellow. He is roughly 6 feet and weighs almost 240 lbs. He has long blond hair that has a natural feathered look, almost like it was straight out of the 70's. Along with his blond hair he also has soul patch below his lip. His eyes are a deep crystal blue that some say are his best physical feature. His shoulders are a little off balance because of his scoliosis, although it isn't terribly noticeable it does occasionally cause him pain.

His looks as a Pokemon are similar to any average Duskull except for a minuscule crack in his skull that he actually received as a child during an accident involving a kiddy pool and some reasonably terrible luck.

 History: Sumners life has been anything but abnormal. He was born in a small port town in Massachusetts known as Gloucester. Everyday the smell of fish and low tide flow through the town and although to most people the smell is disgusting, to the people it brings a strong sense of home. He lives with his parents and his 8 year old sister Laura who will stop at nothing to drive him into getting a brain ulcer. HIs family gets along well enough although sometimes Sumner does feel like he's the only person with an inkling of advance brain activity.

He has always been awkward, and yet at the same time successful socially among all the groups at his school. His closest friends are seemingly always the ones who need advice or help from him in some way or another on a daily basis. Sumner has no problem giving help to his friends but sometimes feels like he himself is forgotten in the long run.

The day that the package came in the mail was much like any other. It was a Saturday morning and Sumner decided to call in sick to work and sleep in. For some reason he felt something special was going to happen today, something new and exciting. When the door bell rang Sumner was only a few feet away from the door, he immediately answered and was met by a simple package in the doorway, no post man, no mail truck, and he was the only person on his street to get his mail. Sumner brought the small package into his Living room and with a clumsy carefulness opened the package that had been addressed to him.

Gahh, why not? Sumner thought as he opened the package, I could always use some... "Super powers" Out of the package dropped small black box, "Goddamnit." Sumner said as he reached down for the small black box . He put his fingers onto the box and felt it gently pop open and under his breath he whispered, "There better be some freaking kryptonite or something in this thing.... It's hard enough to open." Just as the box was completely opened the last thing Sumner could remember was a heavy swirling.

OOC: Awrighty then, lets get this thing crackin! Since Wolf is going to be absent for a few days, I'm gonna start this thing off, with Wolf's Permission of course =3. Your First Post begins with you in the real world, you could be coming home from school, lounging around the house, whatever, eventually you will discover the HTP Package and open it up, you will then end your post with your character blacking out. Got it? Good.

"Thank god school is finally over" Brook mumbled as she shuffled into the house, dripping wet. It was raining cat's and dogs outside and it was cold "Ugh.. maybe I should've worn more than my hoodie" she said pulling off the soaking wet jacket and tossing it on the floor, along with her messenger bag "I'm home!" she called out, glancing around the living room briefly before yawning and scratching her shirt covered stomach "Ahh I'm hungry..." Brooklyn shuffled through the living room and made a bee line for the Kitchen, tossing open the cabinets and the fridge, searching for something to munch on, but her searching proved futile "I don't want leftovers and I don't feel like cooking and I don't feel like walking to Papi's"

She frowned and left the kitchen, entering their living room and flopping boredly onto the couch "Ohh why don't we have any cookies or something? Maybe I could order some Chinese... Teriyaki maybe? Mmm I haven't had Teriyaki in a minute" Brook smiled at the thought of Teriyaki "Yeah, I think I'll call Twin Dragon's and order me a platter" Brooklyn sat up and got off the couch, intending to walk towards the phone, but she stubbed her toe against the box lying haphazardly in the middle of the room "Ow! The fu--" she blinked at the package "Where did this come from and how did I miss it if it were sitting in the middle of the floor all this time"

A common response from her mom, who always tell's Brook to look for things and stop being so damn oblivious, but she seems to heed these words very often "Huh... It's addressed to me?" Brook inspected the box and wondered what was inside it "Could it be that Akabane plushy I ordered! Or maybe that Mr. Mew doll I sent for" she exclaimed ripping open the box and dumping its contents on the floor. A letter and an even smaller box dropped out, curious Brook picked up the letter and began to read.

"H.T.P?" she mumbled aloud scanning the letter again "Sounds like something from those stupid ad's on TV" she blinked at the slip of paper and glanced at the box lying on the floor before picking it up, it was so light and hardly felt like anything was inside "Powers beyond belief" she snorted as she looked at the letter "This is real life, not a cartoon or a story or somethin, stuff like this don't happen" Brook tossed the box across the room and huffed "I don't need an adventure, nor do I need some cruddy powers to feel special, I'm perfectly fine just the way I am"

Brook stared at the innocent box she had tossed across the room, her curiosity getting the best of her as she walked over and picked it up again. "I guess... I guess I could take a tiny peak, I mean whatever it is, it can't be that bad..." she trailed off while picking at the flap before taking a deep breath and ripping it open and peering inside "It's... Its empty?" That was the last thing she said before the room began to spin and her world went black.
 
Zerrah rubbed the exhaustion from her eyes as she entered the building. She turned to the left and headed for the mailboxes. Unlocking hers, she pulled out all the junk mail and a small brown package addressed to her. Curious she quickly climbed the stairs to her rundown apartment. She passed the doors of drug addicts and alcoholics, kicking aside the trash as she made her way to her small space. She pulled out her key and quickly unlocked the door, entered and slammed and bolted the door behind her. Kicking off her shoes she set her book bag and work smock on the table beside her and walked to her room. On the way, she peered into her mother's bedroom and saw that her mother was passed out on the bed, clutching an empty liquor bottle, still breathing. "Just where I left her," she thought to herself in disgust.

Entering her room she closed the door and also locked it so her mother couldn't get to her if she awoke in one of her drunken rages. She sifted through the mail throwing the junk into it's own pile, and the bills into the other. Finally she got to the box and slit it open. Sitting on top was a single sheet of paper, pulling it out, she read it out loud.

"Is this for real?" She turned over the paper looking for the fine print and finding none threw it aside. She reached back into the box and pulled a small black cube. Shaking it, she expected to hear something rattling around, and hearing none, pulled open the lid and glanced inside. A blinding white light issued from the box, causing Zerrah to reel back in panic dropping the box to the floor, where it sat humming with power. After what seemed like an eternity, the light returned to the box, and took Zerrah's conciousness with it.

I set my school bags down on the couch, sat next to them, and turned on the TV. Nothing mutch was on, nothing seemed to be right that day. First, I tripped and fell in the mud on the way to school and as a result I was late for first period, P.E., resulting in a extra lap. When P.E. was over I was so tired I could hardly stand up strait and tripped on the way to math and accidently pushed someone over while falling, and I was sent to in school detention as a result.

That could have all been avoided if my idol, and older brother, had taken me on his camping trip. The day before, when my brother set off, I had begged to go but my brother still said no.

Then the door bell rang. I knew I was'nt allowed to answer the door when my mom was'nt home, but this was different becuse the person who had rang the door bell had left. I opened the door to find it had been the UPS guy. Sitting on the door mat was a brown package, I picked it up to check who it was for. My brother's name was printed on the box.

"oh well"

I whent back to watching TV, but soon I formed an idea. I took the box up to my room and put it under my bed as revenge for my brother not taking me on the trip.

Soon curiosity got the best of me and I carefully took out the box and note trying not to rip the brown paper so when I put it back it would look like it had'nt been opened. The box was a pitch black color and had one edge jutting out. the note was nothing special, it read:

After today I did'nt want mutch more than to watch bland TV and eat some potatoe chips, which surpised me becuse it was out of my character. Since it was so out of character, i opened the black box in seacrch of exitement.

Then my world faded to black.
 
Maxwell was fighting back tears as he ran up the driveway to his house. He's dead, he thought. I can't believe it. He's dead. He was just going to run straight up to his room and cry. As he climbed up the steps to the house, he reflected on his life. It had been bland and boring, until He had come into it. But now He was gone. And his life would be miserable again. Yanking open the front door, he dashed into his room, only to trip on something and fall flat on his face. Just my luck, he thought, slowly getting to his feet. Looking around for what had tripped him, he spied a small brown package lying on the floor. On closer examination, he realised it was addressed to him. He began to rip it open, but stopped as a little slip of paper fell out. He bent down and picked it up, and read:

Looking back over to the package, he saw it had contained a little black box. I bet this is some kind of joke. Some cruel, cruel, sick joke. All the same, he was willing to try anything to escape this life, and ran over to the box, snatched it up, and pulled the lid open.

And the world went black...
