Hello everyone, I'm completely new to modding rom hacks of gen III and was wondering if anyone could help explain to me how to add pokemon in the rom hack Pokemon Unbound. Right now I'm planning on adding the hisuian versions into the game and was curious if it was at all possible to modify rom hacks

    TL;DR: no.

It's possible to modify binary-based ROM hacks usually through traditional methods and decompilation/disassembly based hacks through their source code. But to answer your question on whether you can edit Unbound or not: probably not. Unbound uses something called the Dynamic Pokémon Expansion for it's Pokémon data, and it's a highly customized program only availble to it's developers. Also, you'll need GBA supported Hisuian sprites, make their data, make them availble in game... etc.
