Soonansu actually means "Why bother?" in Japanese. That's why Jessie always gets on her nerves!
"That's right" formally, is "Sou desu." in Japanese, but I don't know how Meowth says "That's right!" in Pokemon.

The English translation is rot. Don't watch it if you know Japanese.

they're good but the names aren't all great... some of them are but some aren't...

I do omit that the translation is quite good sometimes, especially Indigo League!
Now? What a crabby cartoon! =.=
I really h8 the subtitles and the ruby-sapphire names!

Oh.. I cant compare to the japanese versions, but i can compare to the danish versions. Not in the games of course, but the episodes.

The danish voice actors are much better than the english ones ^^

Ash sounds to much like a brat in the english ones.. He still sounds like a brat in the danish versions, but not as much, you can tolerate hearing him speak *lol*

Your from Denmark?
Me too.

I dont watch the English Pokemon episodes, only Danish, or any japanese anime episodes that i can get ahold of, pure or subbed.
I've only played the games with english translation (and japanese versions) and i must say that i do like the Japanese names better, and the Japanese anime since i hate it when they censor the stuff in Anime.

o.o Where can you get the Japanese episodes. Everyone's always talking about'm, but I can't download them anywhere, and I can't find where their for sale. I'd love to see it in it's originality, but where can you X_X most japanese show's aren't translated to english and aired like Pokemon, the ones i can find are usually show's i've never seen aired on TV.

Neh, apparently, when you buy VCD, there's always 2 options (exclud Europe, America)

1. The language of your country
2. Japanese.

If you turn off the right speaker and turn on the left speaker, you'll hear Japanese.
If you do the opposite, you'll hear your own language.
If both speakers are on together, you'll hear both together @@|||

So, do NOT ever watch Pokemon VCD if your speakers cannot function seperately!!
