    As I started watching the pokemon anime I was thrilled about Team Rocket. I mean they were funny, original.. but after watching them trying to catch pikachu or any other good pokemon in every episode kinda made bored. Team Rocket usedb to be funny at the beginning but now it's just being silly. Not to mention Butch and Cassidy being a copy of Jessy and James are even worse! So what do you think about Team Rocket?
     
    I have to agree that too much appearances and too much of their stupors when catching Pikachu does make it a little annoying sometimes, but they're still sort of like the 'starter characters' of the whole pokemon series. If they weren't here, I'd feel that something's missing.. o.o
     
    Well... I'll admit, it gets annoying seeing TR interrupt a Gym Battle, etc. It gets old after 400 eps...
     
    Though Team Rocket gets annoying, they are one of the main stays of Pokémon. Aside from Ash and Pikachu, they were the other characters that were there for (almost) every episode in every region. So they aren't going anywhere.

    Shame about the Team Rocket in the games. I mean, Giovanni gave up rather quickly after a ten-year-old kid defeated him...

    yeah, hanako tabris, you rock~ at least I know there's still someone who agrees that TR should stay.. they were the ones who sort of 'grew with the series'.. lols

    yeah. the other teams like team magma and aqua are just too cool and solemn.. team rocket is unique and can be funny at times~ it adds a little flavour to the show xD
     
    I agree that TR are really annoying in the Anime (I personally think James is a little 'camp'), but they are regular characters, just like Ash, Misty and so on.

    As for the teams in the game, they are really annoying! Not to mention they all use the same sort of Pokemon and the way they talk down at you.
     
    The Dukes of Hazzard has bad guys that are trying the same thing but it more funner then Team Rocket's repeated attempts. I wounder why?

    My query is why the hell do they keep following Ash and co.? I mean they should learn by now thart following them is not a good idea. It'd be smart to get ahead of Ash and his gang, or go back to an area they've previously been and try again there.

    well, it just shows TR is dumb. lols~ (but I don't hate them) xD

    I mean, the way they actually go about trying to catch Pikachu is kinda ridiculous sometimes.. there are also times where they could have successfully got away with catching it, but they just had to say the motto.. which gives Ash and co. time to defeat them and save Pika. lols. but three cheers to their loyalty to TR.. hehex :P

    Yeah of course I do *hugges a bunch of cute, little, fuzzy pokemon* and when I read all the replies I realised that TR isn't that bad.. it would just need developing I guess.. sth new..

    I just tend to be critical sometimes..
     
    Jesse, James, and Meowth used to act really serious in the first couple episodes. Now they always goof around.

    That's the thing. They don't, or haven't, learned to do that. I guess that is what makes them funny, as they never learn. It also makes them annoying to watch, as they never learn. There are times when I find myself thinking that their plans would work...if only they didn't have to say their motto.

    Ah well, I guess that is what makes Team Rocket who they are.
     
    No but Team Rocket is just getting ridiculous at this point. They are still following them after like 2 years, and it's just to capture ONE PIKACHU!

    Really, there are many more pokemon to capture, and a lot rarer then a Pikachu.
