Pokemon vs. Digimon

Digimon or Pokemon?

This should really be in the Pokemon Voting Polls, since it's partly to do with pokemon ^^;
But anywayz, i'd be a digimon ^^
 
I like digimon 1 and 3 (in anime) but Pokemon (in anime) rocks in every episode!! now digimon (general) I like it but my choice until I die is (in general) POKEMON!!!
 
Both rock. Why isn't that an option anyways? >>;; XD
Actually, I use to hate Digimon. Now I'm a Poke and Digi fan ^_^.
 
This is a kind of pointless poll, obviously the people who are here are Pokemon fans because this is a pokemon message board, but oh well. I voted Pokemon.
 
I can't decide whether to move this to Other Anime or Pokemon General.

Ahh, general it is. @_@ It's got Pokemon in the title.
 
Other Anime is where it belongs, as it deals with stuff other than Pokemon.


And I still say Digimon is better because it's not the same thing over and over and over and over....
 
Pok?mon is better than Digimon in games, TCG and Manga. But in the Anime... err... well, Greg, both are always the same thing XD
 
the fact that this is in pokemon general(the pokemon part of the forum) puts digimon at a serious disadvantage XD
anyways, i still like digimon XP
 
I run sites for both Animes, so I shall consider this question carefully.

In terms of games, Pok?mon is clearly superior, considering that it actually has a decent storyline.
I prefer the animation in Pok?mon TV to that of Digimon, and the monsters are cuter, but Digimon has a far better storyline, and Kouichi is way cuter than even Kenta or To'i in Pok?mon.

Which one is better? I'd say both. :P
 
I like Pok?mon better by far. Digimon had a great storyline going...for the first two seasons, then it just kinda faded off...
 
The first and third seasons had the strongest storyline, but Pokemon's was only strong for like the 1st season... then it got pretty repetetive.
 
Pok?mon is pretty predictable. Travel. Get distracted. Find a person in distress / with a Pok?mon stolen / being attacked by Team Rocket. Comfort person / retrieve Pok?mon / defeat Team Rocket. Wave goodbye. The end.

Digimon had a good storyline that extended through the season in each case, although there were a few plot holes / bloopers.
 
I would have to say pokemon>Digimon.

just for the simple reason that pokemon has lasted longer and still brings in alot of money.

Digimon is still cool,but i prefer pokemon.
 
Actually, they're both around, and they were started around the same time (Digimon actually before Pok?mon). So you could say Digimon lasted longer. :P
 
It all depends on what about each one. For example. Digimon originated from the small Tamagotchi-like battlers that you carried around with you. Then there was the Pikachu Jogger thing. Equivalent of the Original Digimon (I still have mine :P). Digimon wins that one. Now, Games: Pokemon Red, blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, TCG, Pinball (2 of them), FireRed, and LeafGreen. THEN! Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, and Pokemon Colosseum. Digimon has the boring (and at times very confusing) Digimon World 1, 2, 3, and 4 (probably more). Pokemon wins that one. Card game: Pokemon wins. Although, Digimon started the Yu-Gi-Oh format of battling. :P Pokemon is the best TCG yet (even better than Magic). And last but not least, cartoon: Digimon is more oriented towards early-teens, whereas Pokemon is oriented towards smaller kids. The Story is better and more serious on Digimon, whereas Pokemon tends to be more comical. Digimon wins that one.

Overall, I like Pokemon Better. That's just my opinion! :P
 
Based on everything overall, I think they're about even. But I have a soft spot for Pok?mon. *hugs her three Pikachu plushies*
