Pokemon who don't evolve need more base stats

Is it me or does every game I play with pokemon who don't have a evolution either suck or just can't compare to evolutionary pokemon. I made this thread just to keep up an idea. Do you think the base stat+gains should be increased for a non-evolutionary pokemon.

I think it makes sense for some Pokemon to be weaker than others. In terms of game balance, weaker Pokemon need to exist during the start of the game so that the player isn't utterly crushed by repeated encounters. They definitely have their purpose in games, and boosting them is a risky move. If you hack forced a situation where the starter was non-standard and had much higher bases, then boosting would be fine imo. It's a little unexpected, and not really a practice I would recommend. Giving boosts could be done in the form of movepool tweaking and other smaller changes like exp rate. Atleast, that's my view on the situation.

True @FBI but I feel as if they're under powered look at touros he's a perfect example of a pokemon who needs a higher stat base

Depends on which pokemon you're referring to.

    Farfech'd is terrible. so yeah....

    But Kangaskhan is totally viable.

Also a lot of non-evolutionary types have a gimmick to them. Such as Dunsparce and Spinda... these pkm are more annoying than threatening but with the right build they shouldn't be underestimated and can take you by surprise.

Also Tauros is great! Especially with Anger point. His speed and Attack give him Sweep potential. His "decent" HP and Defense (and typing) also means he can take a hit or 2 unlike most sweepers such as weavile.
