DAMN YOU! Don't ever insult Coronis. Coronis' scan is great. The baidu scan is not his. His scans are all perfect. Even his scans are low quality, you should also be thank. He gives us to see the scans!

I don't insult Coronis. I like him, he's a cool guy but he's brainwashed by Merrick and his fake "everything legal" policy.

I hate this!

Incomplete scans = Not ****in' big deal.

Maybe Merrick's soldiers are satisfied by incomplete scan, I am not.

He does scan them but you can't really view his photobucket account because it's private.

If the other dex owners are revived are they in the middle of the battle of archie when they were revived or what?

They revived after Archie has threw Jirachi away... Emerald rescue Jirachi and after a long story, the reviving is begin.

But, how did the scan of the Dex Holders getting revived get made public?
Dint someone just say his Photobucket account was private?
 
Previously, Gold and Crys made it to the Battle Frontier to join forces with Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald to fight down Guile Hideout, who revelaed himself to be the former TA leader, Archie. Having overpowered Guile with Explotaro's fire attack, Gold claims that it is ready for the ceremony to begin.

Confused, the Hoenn trio wonders what Gold is talking about, and Gold explains that their goal is to revive the 5 petrified Dex Holders. Gold tries to attack Guile again, but his sword is powerful as ever.

Gold then uses his skateboard to send everyone's Pokeballs forward, and Aitaro, Parapeon, Dusclops, Ruru and Phadodo all try to hold down Guile, but Surskit repels them away (isn't this thing eerily powerful!?), and Guile uses the fake Kyogre to wash against the 5 Dex Holders.

Guile marvels at the mighty powers of the ocean, and deems Jirachi no longer useful. He hurls it away and is about to hit it with 'Kyogre' when Emerald rushed in to shield it, and Latios arrives just in time to block off the tsunami with his Luster Purge. Latios tells of the Brains' continous battle with the rentals downstairs, and Guile once again marvels at the sea's mighty powers. He believes that perhaps he should go in search of a sea mirage Pokemon now that he is going to rule the world with the sea.

Crys finally explains to the Hoenn Trio about their plan, that Emerald's arrival at the Frontier to protect Jirachi to stage 1, Ruby and Sapphire's arrival to assist Emerald is stage 2, while Gold and her own arrival are stage 3, and only the 2 of them really know about the revival plan, which they must count on Jirachi. Gold also reveals here that they can't wish for both the Holders' revival and the disapperance of 'Kyogre' because Scott has reserved a wish for himself.

Crys takes Ruby and Sapphire with her to learn the ultimate moves, while Gold supervises Emerald on making the wish. However, Jirachi does not respond to Emerald's wish to revive the Holders, and simply turns away, much to Emerald's shock.

Jumping off the Battle Tower, Ruby and Sapphire are freaked out that they are standing on mid-air, but Crys explains that her newest team member, Mimepeon, has created an invisible house to cater for their training amid the turmoil outside, a trick inspired by Sabrina's Mr. Mime during the previous League tournament. Crys explains that while 'Kyogre' has the appearance of a Pokemon, it is really just a huge globe of energy, and they must use the combined ultimate moves to disperse it. Giving the fire and water rings to the two, Crys goes to battle 'Kyogre' on Napeon.

Back on Emerald's side, Gold tells Emerald that until he is sincere with his own feelings, Jirachi won't hear him. Gold points towards the sea, where Pika and Chuchu are rushing to the Frontier, believing that their trainers will be revived. The powerful trust of the Pikachus makes Emerald think twice, and Gold leaves him to sort out his feelins while he joins Crys in the aerial battle involving Napeon, Mantaro, Tororo and Latios.

Emerald joins Ruby and Sapphire in the invisible house, and the three starters use their attacks on one another to speed up their training. However, Emerald is half-hearted, and confesses that he is devastated that Jirachi refused to hear him. Ruby and Sapphire realize they actually know little about this 3rd companion of theirs, and Emerald gears down himself, and decides to reveal his past.

The truth is, Emerald's parents died when he was little, and he was thrown around between relatives, no one ever really cared for him, and he is bullied everywhere he goes because of his short height. Fortunately, he always has Pokemon to help him out, and he is content with that until one day the bullies mocked him for using Pokemon as his 'accessories', as his hands and feet. Emerald is repulsed by the thought that he is using Pokemon as tools, and from that day on, decides not to like or count on Pokemon anymore.

While wandering alone across Hoenn, while he was beside a river in Mauville one day, he saw the professor who was in charge of developing the Green Orb. The young woman decided to dump their product because it will never work, and believe that if Groudon and Kyogre should really clash one day, some chosen trainer will save their day. Emerald picked up the jewel from the river, marvelling at its beauty, and believed that carrying the thing will brighten up his future. Drawing on the sand, he also began to dream of a new look for himself, where he has gadgets to extend his height. The Trick Master happened to pass by and was impressed by his design. The two quickly became friends, and the Trick Master soon discovered Emerald's ability in recognizing the birthplace of Pokemon, due to having been thrown around in Hoenn by his relatives for so long. He suggested Emerald to take shelter in an orphans' home in Johto, and Emerald soon ended up in Earl's school.

There, he saw how Crys captured the wild Slumgas for Oak, and is impressed by her skills. He decided to stay, but unfortunately, Crys stopped showing up the very next day. However, weird things begin to happen. Out of nowhere, construction men came to refurbish the old school, and turned everything into brand new, gave children new clothes, supplied them with endless food, all the while no one knowing where all the money came from. Earl eventually revealed to the kids that Crys has taken on a mission for Oak to earn money for them, risking her own life travelling far and across the land and oceans through peril to collect Pokemon. The kids begin to cry knowing the sacrifice Crys has made for them, while Emerald is astounded and quickly developed respect for Crys, never having met someone who would totally give and not take.

He wanted to know Crys better, but even after the Mask Of Ice incident, Crys continued to be busy with Oak's work, and Emerald decided that he will become a Dex Holder as well, and that's when he went to the Radio Tower to find Oak, a scene also depicted in Vol. 15. Oak refused to give him the Dex as yet however, because he sensed a contradiction in Emerald's claim. While Emerald said he wanted to start a journey to travel with Pokemon, but Oak has actually heard about Emerald from Earl, and knew that he never touched Pokemon. Oak wanted Emerald to sort out his own way, but agreed to let him register on the Pokedex first (which is why Wally couldn't register on the Dex as it already has been registered by Emerald even before the RS series began).

The only person Emerald could talk to was the Trick Master, and the man said Oak's real question was 'What is Pokemon to you?'. He developed all the designs of Emerald for him, the gadgets and magic hands, and personally designed the E-shooter for him, and it is revealed that it was the Trick Master's idea that the E-shooter shoots out soil to calm rampaging Pokemon. Emerald began on a personal journey to train himself, learning how to use the gadgets, and travelling across the land to learn more birthplaces. When he was finally ready, he discovered that Oak has absent-mindedly sent his Pokedex along with 2 others to Birch, and so he travelled to Hoenn to get it. However, they were caught up by the catastrophe caused by Kyogre and Groudon, and Emerald was a little too late to reach Birch before he was washed away. Later, Emerald finally claimed the Dex, and Crys personally made his shirt for him, stitching the number 10 on the back, indicating he's the 10th Dex Holder.

Having revealed his past, the three rings suddenly glow, and the Hoenn starters successfully learnt the ultimate moves. However, Gold and Crys are finally knocked down by 'Kyogre', and Emerald sent his team against Guile, but was easily knocked back again, and 'Kyogre' finally drowns the entire Frontier, including all the Brains out on the ground. Guile stepped on Emerald's Mr. Mime, recalling what he heard about Emerald not liking Pokemon, and mocks that he is caring more than he is supposed to because Pokemon are dispensible, and weak ones are meant to be discarded. The same goes for humans, and as he bangs his sword on Silver's statue, he claims that those who have been turned to stone and can no longer function don't deserve credit anymore.

Emerald finally faces his true feelings as Jirachi spies on him, and confesses that he has been lying all along. He, in fact, like everybody else, yearns for companions who share the same thoughts and passion as himself, companions who he could travel with. The truth is, he does not like Pokemon battling at all, but he likes Pokemon, and people who also like Pokemon. With that declaration, their Pokedexes begin to give off a resonant sound that has never been heard before, and Sapphire, with her heightened sense, detects that there are not only 5 sounds, but a total of 10 different sounds. With that, the statues begin to crack, and in an instant returns the 5 petrified Holders to life.

Emerald realizes that Jirachi has finally listened to his wish, and the 10 Dex Holders finally unite.


The above pic was the last frame of this Wonderland chapter, and the cover of Vol. 29 is shown, which features Emerald and Gold, most likely on a crystal-coloured background (purplish pink one like Vol. 10). There is also a snippet on the rough sketches of Vol. 29, showing some interaction between the Dex Holders, though the text are too fidgetty to make sense of. One panel seems to have Crys telling Blue that there are 10 instead of 9 Dex Holders now (at the end of FRLG, Blue once said she hoped the 9 Dex Holders would unite one day), another showing what's likely to be a bickering between Gold and Silver.

Finally, as a matter of interest, Jirachi's second tag also uses the Star Symbol language, just like the first tag. The first tag from Guile's wish writes: 'Umi no tikara (chikara) de subete wo sihai (shihai)', which means 'Using the powers of the sea to conquer everything'. This gave him the fake Kyogre. The second tag from Emerald's wish writes: 'Kokoro musubi aeru nakama tomodachi', which means 'Companions and friends who meet with their hearts linked', allowing the revival of the 5 petrified Dex Holders.


Edit: Some final thoughts. As said, the whole deal with how Storc petrified the Dex Holders in the first place was not yet explained (so as Mewtwo's whereabouts), and given the writers' tendency to always leave a little plothole for future reference, I could only hope they're not leaving this plothole unresolved. Just had a crazy thought, but perhaps Storc really did capture Mew in the nick of time (after it saved the crashing airship and was just about to fly away), and used it to petrify the Dex Holders at the end of FRLG. Then somehow, she has ganged up with Archie and told him about Jirachi (Jirachi's report did originate from Team Rocket, even Oak and Brinca learnt about it from that exclusive report, so Archie must have learn it from someone too?), and given him Mew, and Archie's ultra powerful Surskit is actually Mew in disguise by Transform? Very crazy imagination, but just couldn't resist the urge to speculate.

On another note, Emerald's team has a Sudowoodo, Mantine, Mr. Mime and Snorlax. Red has Snorlax, and Gold has Sudowoodo and Mantine. Now that Crys gets a Mr. Mime, will we see the baby forms of these 4 species at the end of this series?
