    Has anyone encounter or found a way to get Mew?
     
    Mew has always been download/gift only. Odds are this will continue for all Download/Mystery Gift Pokemon. If it has not yet been discovered after 15+ days, there's a pretty solid chance that it is not in the game.
     
    Thats a real sticky post there Mew was mostly in later games as a Event gift only, The only game where you could catch him was Emerald on Faraway Island Which i hope they let you do if not i guess your only choice is Pokebank
     
    Putting the lock on this thread since there really isn't much left to be said here. Mew has always been an exclusive event Pokémon and the odds of that changing are slim. Best chance of getting one in X/Y is through the PokéBank / Transporter which doesn't come out until December. Or you can wait for the next time Nintendo hosts a public event for it, but there's no telling when that might be.
