    With the introduction of the 4th Generation of Pokemon games situated in Sinnoh, followed the release of a brand new set of Pokemon. What did you think of them? Popular opinion is that they were too bland; that there was not enough diversity to make them stand out. What did you think of the newly introduced Sinnoh Pokemon? Were they too simple? Too weird or abstract?

    Personally, I liked a lot of them! There were some that definitely felt rushed or perhaps were introduced for "filler", but overall, I was quite pleased with them. Some of my favourite Pokemon are from Sinnoh, so I can't say I had too many issues with them.

    it seemed like they went "soft" with this generation. Which was good, because the third generation was pretty "sharp", with all the snakes, Dragons and whatnot. Here, even the main legends like Dialga and Palkia seem somewhat peaceful.
    Design wise, they have a perfect balance between simple and interesting.
    The entire Sinnoh region was pretty enjoyable, along with the story that followed it.

    4th gen is probably my most favorite gen in introducing new Pokemon. Gallade, Togekiss, the Piplup line, the Garchomp line are my favorites and there's even more than that too.

    As for whether they're simple or weird, I find it a very good variety since we had from simple ones (Pachirisu, Bidoof) to complicated ones (Arceus, Dialga)

    I'm satisfied with the designs. (: If there's anything that I am not pleased of it's the stats of certain Pokémon like Froslass, Electivire and Magmortar. They should have added more whole new Pokémon as well.

    I loved the Sinnoh region's new Pokemon. My top three favorite Pokemon are from there among several others. i think the simplicity of it all is what really made me like it!

    My only complaint would be the lack of decent fire types that are readily available, bit annoying but thats okay, gives me a reason to pick Chimchar each time as my starter {XD}

    As for filler Pokemon, I would say all regions essentially do that as every time a new gen comes out, there are always a couple Pokemon that make you think "Why does this Pokemon exist?". So having filler Pokemon doesn't really affect me much in terms of liking a region and its Pokemon.

    I really liked Gen 4. The music was great, the places also. I personally thought this region's Pokemon were awesome, since two from this region are in my Top 10 faves (Dusknoir and Porygon-Z), and also my #2 favorite Dragon type, Garchomp! (Sorry Garchomp, Hydreigon came in first).

    But there are some that are just... forgotten. Like THAT GOD DAMN USELESS BAG OF WORMS. Why was the Burmy line a thing? Why was Pachirisu a thing? Cherrim, Purugly(RRRRRGH I HATE THIS), Bronzong(Metagross' cousin lol), Carnivine and Mantyke. All of these... i just didn't care about them. I never heard ANYTHING about them. At all. The only one interesting in that list is Bronzong, whom i have an addiction of calling it Bronzedong.

    Besides that, Sinnoh was awesome.
