    The word that all of us know. All of us love. But others not as much.

    The reason, that some trainers are against some pokemon are because of them being weak. I find this wrong. If you look at a pokemon badly, because of them being weak or not a "high level" then you are just as bad as Team Rocket and Team Galactic themselves.

    I just want to tell people that the next time you see a wild Caterpie, or a wild Starly, that you consider that pokemon being a pokemon and not just ignoring it because of it being weak. Im not telling trainers to catch every wild Bidoof they see just so you aren't mean against pokemon. No. Just remember that they are just as important as that Dialga or Palkia you just caught.


    I hope everybody takes the time to read this and remembers that pokemon have hearts like we do. I may be getting emotional about this but i love pokemon more than a game. Maybe some of you should too.

    If anybody wants to post about why they like a certain pokemon of theres that normally people wouldnt like for "power" please tell me.

    Wow, first off, you misspelled Dialga and Palkia. Yeah. That shows how much you care about Pokemon to misspell their names. <.<;;

    As bad as Rocket and Galactic? They wanted to conquer. We just want to win battles. Learn the difference.

    And no, those Pokemon ARE weak. Level shouldn't matter anymore because even if you don't have the time to train up to lv100, the Wi-Fi options will fix that for you. And if you have such warm, optimistic ideals about using Pokemon even if they are weak or low level, then how about my lv100 team takes on your team of six lv5~ bugs and birds? No? That's what I thought. Pokemon is a game of competition and collection. If you don't realize that about 2/3 of Pokemon in existence aren't worth using in battle, don't plan on having many victorious battles.
     
    Ok. Sorry im not perfect at spelling but im not going to fight. Yes they want to conquer, but they still dont care about weak pokemon. They want power and thats it. I realise you have to train pokemon to get anywhere, but im not trying to get that across. Im trying to prove the point that every pokemon matters even if you dont use it for battle or to conquer the world. And no, I dont plan to win many battles. I plan to like the pokemon I have. Sorry for disagreeing with you, I just feel this way

    I love using all the weak pokemon... The weak ones are usually the cutest or the best looking. Furret > Tyranitar any day. 8D I'm not much of a battler so I don't care about getting the strongest pokemon because there's actually no such thing. You can always lose in a battle but you can always have fun just playing with you're favorites. The game is about having fun, not destroying and raping strangers with your DD and stone edging beastly Tyranitar or calm minding psychicing Gardevior. But if that's you're way of having fun, then great for you. ^^
     
    ...and? Selecting good Pokemon is how ANY competent trainer battles. I agree that every Pokemon matters, but only in the sense of collection. Pokemon like Bidoof and Caterpie are just stepping stones, and are as powerful as stepping stones.

    The weak ones are usually the cutest or the best looking.

    I agree, though I usually phrase it the other way, :P Pokemon is mainly about competition, and that is how I have fun. A good, clean victory always puts a smile on my face. And don't use Tyranitar to lecture me. I don't use it. Too slow and it's just asking for Lucario to shove an Aura Sphere up its ass.

    I totally agree with you. And Ichida, Im sorry for disagreeing with your opposition. You have strong points too and for every trainer I guess it IS about having fun. I just think that weak pokemon have a place to other than just for the pokedex.
     
    Prove to me they're worth using, then, if you feel so strongly about your views.
     
    Well..I cant say that I have a point to prove that caterpies and bidoofs can destroy other pokemon even if they were a higher level..I just think they are worth more than given credit.
     
    First off... everybody who posted above and said that Pokemon are lovable creatures = no lifes... jk... but seriously, its just a videogame and when it comes down to Pokemon in battle, all it is is a bunch of numbers calculation how much damage one Pokemon will do to another... if you think about it, its just like a calculator... but yea... i luv you TwilightBlade, but Furret < Tyranitar...

    Nah, Pokemon is about having fun so whatever you think is fun, go for it. That's why GameFreak stuffed battles, shinies, contests, underground, and all those other features so the game could appeal to everyone. Back in Red/Blue, it was just battle battle battle hack oh noes Missingno battle battle. At least in D/P, I can do other things since battling is not my fancy. I suck at battles. I can't go online with my Delcatty, Furret, Houndoom, Butterfree, Flareon, Arbok, none of those since they'll get whopped by an OU pokemon so now I'm forced to raise pokemon I dislike just to keep up with the rest of the group and that isn't fun so I gave up on that. *cough I got murdered by Tyranitar and it made me sad D8* And I got killed by Lucario too.... Bah. It's so ugly IMO, especially the shiny color and it kills me to look at it every time I see it in the box. D8 Shiny Delcatty is so pretty nya ~ *slapped* You like battles, and I like looking at my pretty pokemon and trading and w/e else da hill I do. We should make like a Electrode and explode since we're so different. 8)
    Edit: I know pokemon aren't actually real but I'm a silly and lonely girl. Wtf am I supposed to do all summer? Love ya too. o_O
     
    Twighlight, I agree with you that pokemon appeals to people in many different ways. Like Ichida says, he loves to battle and other people do different things. I repect people for what they like in pokemon, but I dont say mean things about the way they feel about it either.

    Then enlighten me. Tell me what they are worth. Tell me what purpose they could serve that another Pokemon couldn't do more efficiently.
     
    Since you like battling so much, I guess a caterpie wouldnt do much for you then. But for people like me and maybe other people, caterpie could be a world of exploration. You have your ideas, I have mine. Could we stop the arguing please?

    Well, other than battling, they could be a good partner in contests and such. ^_^

    Exactly. If a pokemon that wouldnt be good for battling, or if it was good for battling it still has a purpose other than battling. And if it doesnt, then your in luck because you like battling! Lol, do what ya want as long as you have fun with it.

    Im gonna go now. Im sorry to anyone who I upset with my ideas of how to act towards pokemon. Everybody approaches it differently. Keep posting people, I'll see ya all! ;)

    Ok,First off,Yeah,I DO believe weak pokemon ARE pretty sweet.I mean,if you didn't have weak pokemon,such as nidoran,you wouldn't have superior pokemon,such as NidoQueen/King.So in my opinion,if your calling weaker leveled Pokemon weak,then you must be calling ALL pokemon weak.

    as blade said i would'nt go for a battle with my misquirain and gorrebyss the are weak but i still llove them i had a zigzagoon in my team a zigzagoon yes he is the most weakest to some ppl but for me he is like my best he is not even shiny and i battle with him i didn't evolve him why? cuz i don't like linoone take ash as an example he didn't evolve his bulbasuar why? cuz he don't want to sure you would'nt take a lv100 bulbasaur to battle but he did battle with a bulbasaur just like me i battle with a zigzagoon not even ev traind but he is strong to me

    Nidoking and Nidoqueen aren't necessarily that great either, lol. Nothing should be used competitively if it isn't fully evolved, if it evolves at all. Of course, there are exceptions to that as well, like a Light Ball'd Pikachu, or Scyther if you prefer speed to Scizor's defense.

    And yeah, while your initial message was incredibly sentimental and sweet, you've gotta remember that this is a game. It's no use protecting weak Pokémon because we all know they are weak, and the main point of Pokémon games is battles, believe it or not.
