Im Ev training my Typhlosion.hes got the pokerus and hes holding the power lense. And battling mewtwos.

    So, naturally 4+3X2 = 14
But, i can only seem to get 7.

Could someone tell me what im doing wrong lol

    K,

whats wrong with training a normal Typhlosion? u dont need pokerus, just a lot of training and time.

it works for me, and itll work for u. trust me

Im trying to get the most out of him :P

Ive tranied tryplosions the normal way and my friends allways beat them :\
So, i want this one to stand a chance

How are you encountering Mewtwos in the first place? Is your game hacked or something? You can't find Mewtwos in the wild (at least not in D/P), nor do in-game trainers have them. Maybe the hacking (if it's there) also contributes to the Pokerus not working. If so, I'm afraid there's no way to fix this.

Normally, Pokerus should give the 2x EV boost, even after the Pokemon is cured. It works on my game at least...

Yeah, I honestly see no point in EV training that much. I just got pokerus, and trained normally with it. I mean some people take EV way too seriously.

You're confusing the amount of stats you gain after a level up with EVs. Those are two different things. EVs are values that influence the stat gains you get after each level up. Usually, if you start EV training at a high level such as 30, you'll notice things like +7 or +8 to the stat you're training at first in then gains like +3 or +4 afterwards. This is normal. I could explain this in more detail, but I'm not sure how to word it, so feel free to ask if anything needs clarification.

Really? I don't think it works after the pokemon is cured of it. I really dunno how it worked for you! And Yeah! One can train without pokerus alright! Its simply exaggerated too much!

Pokerus still gives the EV boost once cured, it just can no longer infect other pokemon.

Please ask questions in the Question and Answer Thread. :)

And, trade for pokemon in the Quick Trade Thread in the Trade Forum.
Thanks, have a nice day. :)
