    Just a minute ago I went to the Pokemon Center and found out that three of my pokemon were infected with the Pokerus in all my life of playing Pokemon this is my first time encountering this. It's a good thing right? I heard it doubles the effort points your Pokemon receive in leveling up.
     
    Yes it is a good thing. It indeed doubles the EV's. Keep at least one of the Infected pokemon in your box at all times because if you leave them in your party over night the PKRS will become immune too it, which means it cannot spread any farther, but the effects of EV Doubling still stay in place.
