hey, i'm new to the website, sorry if this post seems to be out of place.
i seem to be doing all the steps to using pokesav right, but everytime i delete the original save file, drag the new (pokesav'd) file to my battery folder, and start the game up, my saved game doesn't show and starts a new game...
these are the steps i'm taking
1.) convert my saved pokemon file in no$GBAtoVBA (the converted file ends up in my no$GBAtoVBA folder because i don't know how to direct the file to my battery folder)
2.) start pokesav and open the converted file (everything comes up, name, ID, pokemon, money...) change what i want, save...exit
3.) delete the original save file from my battery folder
4.) copy and paste the converted, pokesav'd file into my battery folder
5.) start up my game...and this is where it wants to start a new game over...
i thought maybe it had something to do with me not knowing how to direct a file on no$GBAtoVBA to my battery folder...(maybe i don't have the right version of no$GBAtoVBA because when i click configure, an options box comes up with Step #1, Step #2 and Step #3...none of which will let me direct where i want my converted file to end up...)
and now everytime i repeat steps 1-2, when i open my save file on pokesav, my name ends up being nn (my name in pokemon games are usually Winn), my ID number is only 2 numbers, and i have no pokemon...
once again, i'm sorry if this post is out of place and asked a million times
