Well since my other sites weren't good enough for me I've come up with this one, and yes I plan on sticking with it for a while...

I'm mostly looking for feedback and some idea's on more of what other people are looking in a site so I can contribute that and add it to my own site.

Sorry to say that your site doesn't even work on my computer, since your using div placements, you should try coding it in css. Works a lot better.

What kind of internet access do you have? I've never had problems getting to my site and I've used two different internet services.

Its not your internet access. its because your positioning your divs. When you make a div layout use CSS so you can use padding-left, padding-top, padding-bottom, padding-right, or you can use margins.

But your positioning yours so they look perfect for you but if you have a bigger monitor like me its turns out bad.

Yah same here you need to use css I learned that the hard the way a couple years ago when I did my first div layout. Everything turns out really bad if you don't do it.

Anyways, I don't think the colours used were the best, to be honest. =P
My eyes just don't like the shade of blue used. What's more, it's over used in both the content container, as well as in the side bars.

You have large gaps between the links and the following section headers, which doesn;t look too good.

Don't leave the link colours the same as the text colours, and it's best to not make em bold, but normal.

The background isn't too great. The TV lines have been overused by many other sites, so it's gotten old. Try something different. (Ie, Many people like to have think TV lines rather than 1px ones).

Banners are nice, as long as they've been well done. SO get a banner. And make sure said banner is well done. :)

Change the text font on the front page.

All in all:
Your site has a small amount of content, but it is a decent start. Keep at it and you;ll get a massive load eventually (with LOTS of hard work and dedication). Your design is "meh." It doesn't scare people away, but it doesn't draw people in either. You need to make it more.... modern? As well as "Pokemony."

But, hey, it's decent for a beginning. Just keep at it and you'll make it eventually.

Ok well I got a better layout, and low and behold its CSS (I think) So far it looks good just need to add more content and get some affiliates...


Anybody know how I can contact Total Pokemon? There contact us page isn't working...

It's looks alright but I hate the background. As you scroll down, it's all flashy. And good luck on affiliating with TotalPokemon. Personally, I think you're going to get fully rejected. Your website has like 5% of their content in quantity..

It's an Ok Layout. Like Eon said that it gets flashy. The banner is a bit boring and the colors are very plain, but if you keep at it, You will eventually grow and be able to develop and become better, Keep up the content and your knowledge and you can do it.

Yeah, don't try to become any affiliates with larger websites. They'll either politely say no (most unlikely), ignore you (most likely), or laugh at you (it happens). You need to affiliate more with websites about your own size. Also, remember, too many affiliates isn't a good thing. Some have WAY too many....

Anyways. That's a batter banner.... Don't make your content area the same color as the background though.
