Poll: what's your fav? Shiny or Legendary.

Most legendary Pokemon cannot learn Leech Seed, and those that can are a bunch of accursed event-exclusives. Therefore, I prefer shinies over them.

Yes, my main criterium whether a Pokemon is good or not is Leech Seed. Totally.

Well, so far so good i like your opinions, i made this thread because i was confused on which is rarer so i wanted to know what you think.

P.S. my sister voted legendary, but frankly i prefer shiny.
P.S.S. y'know once i was getting ready to trade with my friend on platinum (this was from before hg/ss was out) and i was training my hoothoot that i found in eterna forest and all of a sudden...SHINY BIDOOF!!! if i caught it my friend would give me any of his powerfull pokemon, as i remember him saying "I won't give Torterra for anything...except a shiny or something" woo, so i catch and train the bidoof until.....DS CRASH!!! AND I DIDNT SAVE HOOTHOOT OR BIDOOF...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I'd say legendaries, because they are actually quality Pokémon. Shinies, on the other hand, are only cool in terms of appearance, but that's about it. They can be a pain in the butt to find too, with the exception of Gyarados. All shinies usually symbolize is hard work looking for them. So in conclusion, I voted for legendaries.

Legendaries, because I've owned them. Shinies, however, I haven't, despite the ones you got in-game during like, an event. ;__________;

Shiny Pokemon I would capture without thinking, but I'd only capture it for collection purposes, they really don't appeal to me. Shiny are just a Pokemon in a different colour really, in my opinion. I'd chose legendary I think out of the two, but again, really I don't like the legendary Pokemon neither, they too are just Pokemon with slightly higher stats. Although I do like legendary Pokemon (like for example, Suicune) and use them I'd rather train up some Pokemon you could capture and train up without higher stats and feel proud that I have been able to accomplish such a goal.

Shiny Pokemon are My Favorite

I chose Shiny Pokemon, because anyone can catch a Legendary, but to catch a Shiny Pokemon you require either extreme luck, dedication, or know how to RNG Abuse. Also you can have Shiny Legendary Pokemon which beat Legendary Pokemon any day. I may be bias though, since I've only seen and caught one Shiny Pokemon ever, so to me they seem way more special then Legendary Pokemon.

Shiny, hands down. Legendaries are so...common. Shinies are incredibly rare.

I never use legendaries. I thought they were cool in Gen 1, but I'm a little tired of them now. Besides that, Pokemon games are easy as it is, I have no need for an over powered beast on my team.
Shinies are at least unique and interesting. I see legendaries much more often than I see shinies.

I'm gonna take shines!^^ I've seen so many guys using legendaries lately (play bloody platinum and go to a Pokemon Day, you'll see!^^) that it has lost parts of its awesomeness (that can only be regained when you're defeating a legendary with outclassed Pokemon like Unown, Furret, Eevee, Torchic, Piplup or Chatot!^^), while seeing a shiny is always awesome!^^ And also, I used to spam legendaries a lot, that may also be a reason why a legendary isn't as epic as it was on my eyes!^^ So, I guess my choice is explained!^^

I'd go for shiny. I hardly ever get them but I plead my friend for them. I don't use legendary Pokemon in my party anyway so it works out. ;.;
