2nd Gen Poll:whats your favorite metal game?

I just was curious as to which one you prefer playing. i like silver more just cause of lugia. i think that pokemon is just great and i rather have that type than a bird type (not a big fan of bird types)

I prefer Crystal. It has more stuff in it to do. And it was the first Pokémon game to introduce Pokémon Animations and the option of being female.

Personally I'm attached to Gold because that's what I owned. I know that will probably be the least popular choice because Crystal was the 3rd game in that generation, and Silver had better sprites which sways a lot of peoples' decision.

Crystal because it has everything the other 2 had and added new stuff to it like the Battle Tower. Also, it is based on my favorite legendary, Suicune and the sprites were recolored in this game. No more brown Sneasel or a red Houndour.

Crystal, because of the animations and because it had more music, more events, and there were only 2 wandering pokemon to catch instead of 3.

Silver, because during Christmas one year my brother got Gold and I received Silver. Lugia was also cooler looking I thought, and still do think that.

well gold was my favorite just because it was my first in the metal generation, and i spent the most hours on it. but crystal deffinately had the upper hand, feature wise.

Silver for me as well, it was the first game i got :P and i never played Crystal before and i had Gold but lost it, besides there is no difference between Gold and Silver aside from Pokemon caught in-game.

gold. i thought crystal was gay and i didnt like the focus on suicune cause i liked that one least and raikou was my favorite. it was also my first metal game and i thought HO-OH was wayyyyyyyy cooler than lugia on silver. i even liked the gold version of lugia wayyy better than the silver version because it didnt have aeroblast. i also didnt like how on crystal you had to capture all 3 legendaries to get the rainbow wing cause i loved HO-OH and wanted it first. all this until after having like 15 pokemon level 100 all of the sudden the data went corrupt and deleted my game and wouldnt let me save the game anymore

Crystal was more of a celebration of the generation. The main story, more other things, and stuff. :P

But I liked Gold, it was one of my first games. :D

I should say Silver as it was my first game ever, but I have to say Crystal. I can still play it, and it was the first game where you could play as a girl. Also I loved the storyline, the added features like the Battle Tower, and the fact that it was GBC-native rather than compatible with GBC =|
