5th Gen Possible New Evo's and Prevo's

How is a Dark-type supposed to evolve into a Normal-type, anyways? T_T
And Tauros doesn't evolve into Buffalon (or whatever its called), either. They don't even look that much alike. Besides, Tauros is a bull, and Buffalon (obvious by the name) is a buffalo. Luvdisc and Mamanbou do look a lot alike, though. But it's already been stated that there won't be any evolutions or pre-evolutions in B/W. Goodness, I feel repetitive. :x
 
I think that the no new evolutions of old pokémon is simply a mistranslation. I don't see any logical reason for them to do that.

Yeah if it is true than it's sad, Johto and Kanto got so many cross regional evolutions while Hoenn pokemon didn't though it could have some in gen 6 like Johto didn't until gen 4 :)

There's a perfect reason for that. :0
Isshu is based off of a far away place that's separated from the previous generations. So it makes sense that there would be no previous generation Pokemon, as well as no evolutions or pre-evolutions for them.

Plus they wanted a pure slate that they didn't even make evolutions for past pokemon not even for Post (inter)National Dex...

I'm not going to pretend that I know whether it is a rumor or not (because I'm sort of out of the loop, for the moment), but I must say, Luvdisc's "next" evolution, based on the image, looks pretty similar. And I personally think Luvdisc should get an evolution anyways. But if it isn't the evolution for Luvdisc, then I think whoever created it wasted their time. It looks way too similiar to not be Luvdisc's evolution.

Good try, but no. They aren't related; they're just similar. Kinda like a Siamese and a Burmese cat are similar (because, you know, they're both cats) and a water buffalo and a domestic bull are similar (because, you know, they're both bovids). And while I thought Luvdisc evolved into Mamanbo (like everyone else) it now appears that this is not the case, so there you go.

Well, Game Freak has been doing rather weird things this generation. I mean, we have an ice cream and garbage bag Pokemon coming up. xD
Besides, GF said they'd be recreating previous generation Pokemon, and Mamanbou is one of them. :>
 
Those look similar, the first one no, the other 2 are more plausible.
Though, that "rumour" they said no OLD pokemon will be appearing until AFTER the National dex, is probably what they're thinking of.
Though, probably none of the new evolution pokemon will be obtainable until you get the national dex. Or maybe no Evolutions at all. It's still a mystery. But it's still unproven.

Actually i think the garbage pokemon is a good idea :3 muk was a waste pokemon too. -> garbage pokemon evo of muk. Blah no evos in this gen wth is this thread for real. Havent they said on serebii that there will be no more poke form old gens?
 
The first one is a big no way. xD
The other two are more likely, but mostly the Tauros evolution line. When I first saw that Pokemon I thought it was the evolution of it lmao.
 
That new bull better not be an evolved form of Tauros. Tauros is already a badass.

And how would it even evolve? Trade whilst holding a wig? I don't think so somehow.

Nothing against the new bull whatsoever, though. One of my favourite 5th Gen Pokemon thus far. I'll probably use it as part of my team. I just don't think it should evolve from Tauros.
 
Ok, basically Gen V is going around cloning old Pokemon.

Emonga = Another Cloned Pikachu
Buffalon = Cloned Tauros
Minezumi = Another Rattata Clone
Choroneko = Cloned Meowth/Skitty/Glameow
Munna = Cloned Drowzee
Mamepato = Another Cloned Pidgey
Koromori = Cloned Zubat
Mamanbou = Cloned Luvdisc
Kurumiru = Cloned Caterpie
Tabunne = Cloned Chansey
Monmen = Cloned Hoppip
Dangoro = Cloned Geodude
Yooterii = Cloned Growlithe/Poochyena/Houndour
Zorua = Cloned Togepi/Riolu (Do not quote. Personal Opinion)

Really they just seem to be randomly taking a few previous ones that were OK to underused (possibly) and made Gen V versions to them. It was confirmed that there are absolutely no Pre Gen V Pokemon and the Gen V Pokedex has 156. The total amount of Pokemon that was being made. So yes there is a very high chance no new Evos.

Once again the Gen V Pokedex was confirmed to have 156 places in it. It was on one of the updates that released info on the legends. It was confirmed that there were 156 new Pokemon being made for Pokemon Black and White. It seems pretty plain to me that there will be no Evolutions or Pre evolutions in this Gen.
