I don't know about you all but I think that they should have added a little more plot to the part of the games after the main story line to add some more drive for people to explore the other parts of Unova. The hunting down the seven sages thing was alright i don't know but it could have been better... I did like the fact however that you could battle Cynthia and the Game Freak Guy. Also a cool idea that they should of used somewhere was you and N in a double battle against some other two people (Ghetsis and someone else?) so it could be like Reshiram and Zekrom fighting together and stuff like that. And I wish Genesect wasn't an event pokemon, because it could have made a good post storyline plot thing too... What do you all think?

I think more could have been done, even in the past Pokemon games, none of them tend to have a deep story with twists and what not, but Black and White seem to be the closest to a more engaging story. Otherwise its all about catching them all and beating the league.

Well that's where all the other features come in, like the Battle Subway, Dream World, etc. Not to mention catching them all. x)

    I wouldn't mind more of a post-storyline, but I don't think it's entirely necessary.

Post-game was very disappointing, with 98% of the story folding away after you beat ghetsis. I think there were enough area to create a whole new post-story related to the main story or a brand new one with no connection between the main story.

Not to mention the ridiculous level gap - Had I not poke-transferred bunch of lv100s before I ventured out east, I'd have been thumped.

Going with the above, I thought the post-game was rather lacking because after catching the available Pokemon in-game, there's nothing to do but train for the Battle Subway or Wi-Fi or doing the National Dex.

It was rather lacking in intrest.
There is no apparent reason why there is a sudden level jump, and it's just jarring.
If there had been more to the Sage Arc then maybe it would be interesting. If they had done more with the Relic it would have been intriguing. If more had been explained about the History it might have been enrapturing...
But no, there was just a bunch of things that seemed like they should have been related and the game pretty much saying "here have feral pokemon to catch. FILL THAT POKEDEX, GO" (which is painful for people who couldn't care less about pokedex filling, especially now that the Height Check is gone)

Yeah haha pokedex filling is not really my thing because it would take FOREVER... So for me i think they should of had a more focused post game storyline. And since they already were trying to put a lot of focus on the plot in the games anyway, I thought that maybe they could have made this end part a little better too

I also wish there was more to do other than filling up that Pokedex, Battle Subway and maybe the Pokemon Musical. Maybe just maybe if there were two more important things to do after the story ended I would of been more happier.

I like your idea, they should have gone with that. The post game is indeed lacking and I quickly lost interest in playing not too long after beating the main story line. I enjoyed the subway for a while but after I beat the singles subway master twice, I pretty much put the game to rest. I did battle people over wifi for a while but even that has met its end for me now.

Yeah Genesect as a post-game storyline would be kinda interesting, since there's SO many scientists in Unova and it could definitely be exploited after Ghetsis leaves, aka their time to dominate the region.

But yeah, post-game sucks, at least the main story is great? :(

A commonly accepted part of game design is that you put the most time and effort into the parts that the most of your players are going to see.

Therefore, the early game and main elements of the story are prioritised and stuff that doesn't matter like what to do after you've beaten the game isn't.
