Donny Z. is better for straight control unless really you know what your doing. Pogi is a good duelist and then you could go a few pages back and see my deck but I has a few modifactions to it, but I'm about to modify it again, if he can bea me sometimes and I'm one of the best in my area then, I'm pretty sure he could beat you. :D

Dont underestimate me, now.

I never said that I was unbeatable, or thar Pogi pushover or anything like that. I was just a little P'Oed over the strat bashing, Mudora beatdown wins duels. And mind you, that was a off the top of my head construction, Im seeing PLENTY of things I left out (that was directed at Pogi...sorta...)
 
I run beatdowncontrol, so naturally I prefer Trap of Board Eraser over Barrel behind teh door, as barrel does life points, but trap makes them get rid of cards. And that is teh whole basis behind control. Almost every single monster, magic, and trap card in my deck focuses on negating, destroying, removing, and discarding.

And I wasn't exactly strategy bashing. if you will recall, I posted up a strategy first, and it was you who first suggested I had to be out of my mind.

But I'm digressing here, I missed out on reviewing a lot of decks... Need to get caught up on that...
 
Yeah, thats true. We got started off on the complete wrong foot. I WAS in the wrong for jumping on you like that when you called Venus useless.

Dsareno, I can help you MORE if you give me a theme. But you do seem to have enough cards to have a good working deck there.

Yeah, I have a lot of cards, but they still aren't good enough. I need to find a way to use my second Sorcerer of Dark Magic without using Dark Magician (2 trbutes too much). Then I need to summon my Dark Paladin, and I, hopefully, will be able to by this weekend. My friend has a King of the Swamp he'll trade me. Oh, yeah, my deck tries to focus on spellcasters. I have edited it since I posted last, and it is getting better every day. I think... :\
 
Well the easiest way to get SODM out by far is to run multiple chaos sorcerers, or run Magical Scientist and Sanwitch (both of which I ran in my Spellcaster deck)

You could run a Mystic Tomato or 2 to pull out the scientist faster.
 
Thanks, I'll look into that. Today, my sister and I went out and bought Christmas gifts for each other- Rise of Destiny Special Edition megapacks. You know, the ones with the variant cards? Yeah, one for each of us and I got a booster pack for now (I don't like to wait for presents, but then, who does?). I got Raregold Armor and Hidden Book of Spell, along with some other, newly-aquired cards. My deck has never been better. Here it is-

I hope the comments are good this time, I finally got my deck past the unofficial rookie level. After Christmas and my birthday (2 weeks after) I will finally be able to summon Dark Paladin, and him mixed with SoDM, my opponent won't be able to use spells or traps (if I discard cards from my hand). I await that day...
 
Too many tributes??? WHY do people always say that, when I almost never have trouble in that area?

Though, I'll have to boost my traps, that's true. Maybe only 2 Waboku's, and a Magic Jammer? My spells are pretty good, though, and I'm keeping them the way they are until my friend finally gets to trade with me (delays, delays, delays). Thanks, Pogiforce-14. Oh, and do you mind if I add you to my friends list? It's kinda bare, and I talk with you more than anyone else, anyway.

(EDIT) I got rid of Robbin' Goblin and one Waboku for Magic Jammer and Raigeki Break.

As for the spells, I like Yami but I guess I could ditch it for something better. Either Dark Hole, Hammer Shot, or Fissure. I can't risk anything else without my strategy falling.

Banned cards? Like what? My friends and I don't really care about the bans unless it's a limited or semi-limited card.

Theyre Beginner format players, Pogi, and the only banned card was Reborn...O_o..galore? jeez, man.

I say Spiirit of Flames needs to go, he has no reason to be there. And trade Hidden Book of Spell and Ordeal of a Traveler for more Dust Tornado.

Meh, my deck needs help. XD PLEASE keep in mind I'm not some rich game maniac who can afford all powerful and good cards. That's partly why I have the kind of deck I do, because it makes weaker monsters more powerful. Also, if you need to know the effect/level/atk/def of any card, just ask. What I REALLY want help with is to decrease the number of cards in my deck.

WAY too many single cards, and you should double up on your strategy cards. Problem is, weak strategy. your G-bind will only work well with that Mucus Yolk, and you only have one of each in your deck. plus, fairying a 8-claws scorpion is faulty because if they summon anything in attack mode, your scorpion will be going down fairly quickly.

I can't find any more strategy cards. But I've got some Christmas money, when I'm feeling better I'll go card shopping.

That's why I have a lot of "defensive" Spell/Trap cards. But the problem with that is my deck's too big.

So what should I do? I'll plan out some different strategies, but my deck is still too big. Gravity is one of my favorite strategies (mostly because it annoys whoever I duel. LOL) but I'll give it up if you can give me a better machine/fiend strategy (I've been wanting a deck like Alister's for some time. ^^;)

Hi. Just a question about my cards- do you think I should have 3 Blue-Eyeses or a Chaos Sorcerer, a Neo Aqua Madoor and a Sorcerer of Dark Magic in my deck. I'm really torn between the two. I've given up on focusing on certain types of monsters, but my deck is really a direct damage deck, if that helps. Anyways, I have a Paladin of White Dragon (monster and spell) and a Kaiser Sea Horse to help Blue-Eyes get to the field. I MIGHT get another of each of those soon. SoDM, on the other hand, is stronger and better, but is very hard to summon. IF I finally get a Buster Blader, I can put Dark Magician and Dark Paladin in there instead of Blue-Eyes (DP and SoDM stop all spells and traps my opponent uses!) (keep Chaos Sorcerer to summon SoDM). But, as of right now, which should I have?

3 Blue-Eyes White Dragon
1 Kaiser Sea Horse
1 Paladin of White Dragon (with ritual spell)

OR

1 Sorcerer of Dark Magic
1 Chaos Sorcerer
1 Neo Aqua Madoor (soon, maybe, another Chaos Sorcerer)

Pogiforce - I know a guy who runs a "redline" deck (Machine deck w/Limiter Removal = mass beatdown), and it works wonderfully.

Good Machine deck cards:
Blowback Dragon (requires some luck but don't underestimate it)
The XYZ cards
Heavy Mech Support Platform (+500 ATK is NOT bad, PLUS it protects Machine monsters from being destroyed once by ANY means)
Jinzo >_> <_<
Mechanicalchaser (1850 beatstick, too bad Machines don't have a 1900)
Reflect Bounder (deals damage equal to the attacking monster's ATK to the opponent - woahshi)
Spell Canceler (Jinzo for Magic cards >_<)
Limiter Removal (doubles the ATK of Machine cards but destroys them at the end of the turn)

Dsaerno - I'd go for the Spellcasters. BEWD is horribly overrated...
 
T_T...no decent fiend or machine strategies...what? Dont even answer that..

Archfiend decks can be VERY annoying, and they should see much more play than they do. And Mazera DeVille..hoo.

Machines have SPEED BEATDOWN written all over them thanks to Limiter removal. The XYZ people get VERY evil quickly when you sit a Luminous Spark next to them. And lets not forget Big Core. He can be used as both a good offense and defense.

Heavy Mecha Support Platform isbroken, IMO...lol

Anyway,back on topic.

Dsearno: Listen to Aeon. BEWD is overrated GARBAGE. *points to really high BEWD pile in trash can*
