Postal 2: Paradise Lost

Today Running With Scissors makes their first release in 12 years! Given their lack of a budget, they decided to work in the engine they already have, and made an expansion to their existing game, Postal 2. The expansion features 5 whole days of new errands to run, a completely redesigned Paradise themed after a nuclear holocaust setting (because of the ending of Apocalypse Weekend), dual wielding weapons, and Gary Coleman!

I was lucky enough to have the release of this expansion coincide with my birthday! I personally can't wait for it to come out, as we're 3 hours from it's planned release right now. Thoughts? Are you gonna get it? Does anyone want my last copy of Postal 2 Complete before it comes out? Steam only of course.

It's really interesting to see a game get an expansion this long after release...

Postal 2 is a free roaming first person shooter made 12 years ago, which received some controversy for its depiction of extreme violence, kinda like Hatred is now. In fact, Hatred is actually very much like the first Postal game, minus the black humor. You explore the town of Paradise, AZ over the course of a week trying to finish your list of errands for "the Bitch", your wife. The game is offensive and unapologetic. It even has Al Qaeda NPCs.

Paradise Lost is an expansion pack featuring 5 new days of errands to run in a post apocalyptic Paradise, and several new items and weapons.

I can always take that off your hands. :P

I have beaten all 5 days, but am stuck on the final boss. I have to say, I was totally blown away on Monday. And every time that I think "Oh great, they're just reusing stuff", something happens to turn everything on its head. Beating Paradise Lost as a pacifist is considerably more difficult than it was in the original. The best new feature imo is the Energy Drinks, which when used will give you temporary dual wielding of certain guns.
