I would love feedback on how well planned these teams are, and what can be done to improve them, particularly the movesets.

Wow lots of pedomon to rate I appreciate it ^_^
Since it's in-game, I'll only provide natures
FireRed:

Scyther
Nature: Jolly
Swords Dance
Wing Attack / Reversal
Hidden Power (Bug)
Substitute
Yeah, I think we know that Scyther holds superiority over Scizor.

Jynx
Nature: Timid
Ice Beam
Psychic
Lovely Kiss
Calm Mind
Ice Beam owns Ice Punch by a long shot.

Kabutops
Rock Tomb
Slash
Surf
Seismic Toss

Venusaur
Nature: Sassy
Sleep Powder
Leech Seed
Sludge Bomb
Synthesis / Hidden Power (Fire)
NO at the other Moveset.

Arcanine
Nature: Naive
Fire Blast
Iron Tail
Extremespeed
Crunch
I know I know, Iron Tail is nubish. I couldn't think of any better fillers that had nothing to do with Hidden Power.

Aerodactyl
Nature: Jolly
Aerial Ace
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Double-Edge
...

LeafGreen:

Charizard
Nature: Naughty
Earthquake
Fire Blast
Dragon Dance

I'm loling at Dragon Rage.

Omastar
Nature: Modest
Surf
Rain Dance
Ice Beam
Hidden Power (Grass)
You don't need 2 STAB moves.

Jolteon
Pin Missle
Rain Dance
Thunder
Shadow Ball
Use Electabuzz instead. Get it off of Fire Red.

Exeggutor

No need for Sludge Bomb mate.

Pinsir

Take Down
Needs more Dodrio.

Sapphire:

Okay I got sick of rating the rest of them, but your movesets suck. I'm sorry to say that, but I'm telling the truth, and like the saying goes, the truth does hurt.

Watch out for those Hidden Power suggestions, Icenub.

lol we should just turn him into a metagame tycoon synch

I don't think people understood the point of this thread. The teams are for Game Boy play, not for net battle. (Hidden Power types cannot be chosen in the Game Boy games.)
I already know this isn't for NetBattle, but you need to put some thought as to what attacks will cover what Pokemon.

You don't give a Pokemon 2 STAB attacks first off. Second, think of abilities.
And it's obvious Hidden Power can't be chosen, but there is the matter of having to breed for it.

Next, training just in-game pokemon is just pointless. Make some stuff that will actually at least half way correspond to the competitive metagame as it is today.

Also, tell me why anyone would use THIS as an in-game Charizard:
Charizard
Flamethrower
Aerial Ace
Dragon Rage
Beat Up
Now that's just ****ing horrid. Dragon Rage ONLY does 40 Damage, and Beat Up is just outright weak.

Let's see what else we have here:
Jynx
Ice Punch
Psychic
Hail
Rest
Nobody uses Hail, and Jynx is too fragile to use Rest, since it can die in 1-2 hits. Ice Beam has more Base Power than Ice Punch, and I think everyone here will agree with me.

Shall I continue with something else?
Medicham
Psychic
Seismic Toss
Rest
Sleep Talk
Medicham only has 60 Base Sp. Atk, therefore Psychic is meaningless. Seismic Toss is only going to do a set amount of Damage depending on the user's level. You need to take advantage of Medicham's Pure Power Ability, which DOUBLES his Physical Attack. 219 x 2 turns into a whopping 438 at the end. Therefore, Medicham needs a bunch of Physical attacks.

I've made my point, and I hope it's clear enough for you to understand.

I heard that flaming a team help thread isn't as cool as flaming a person trying to help, but is doing so horridly.

Btw, Icemang, if I can use Cacturne in OU, I'm sure this person can use Crawdaunt in-game. Just give him a good set perhaps?

What sucks is that Vileplume only gets Leech Seed as a NYPC attack. =(

Oh. >> Well, go ahead and use Razor Leaf instead then.
