2nd Gen Pre-release Magazine Information

I was wondering if anyone still had the early issues of Nintendo Power, Pocket Gamer, and any other magazines that contained information and/or screenshots pertaining to the then upcoming release of Gold/Silver in the US.

If it's not too much to ask, I'd love to have scans or pictures taken of said pages for a project I'm working on. Thanks.

Who moved this to the HeartGold and SoulSilver forum? I put it in the Metal and Color Generation forum for a reason: it had to do with the METAL GENERATION.

^ Uhhh - it was probably because Gold/Silver have been out for a very long time, and they assumed you were talking about the two new G/S remakes that are on their way out? Just change your phrasing in the first post and it should clear it up ;)

I actually do have a magazine from the time, though :) I glance over it from time to time - it always makes me smile as to how excited they were! The first of the two I had a new pokedex, with info on all of the 2nd generation pokemon/moves and the second one was a full walkthrough of the game. Sadly, though, they're UK mags, not US.

I'm sure you'll find it in your heart to forgive the person who moved it to HG/SS. =P I daresay a quick-glance at it might have made it seem fitting for it though...eh, no harm done, I suppose.

Well, no harm done bobandbill and Went. I kinda figured a mod would just glance over and assume I meant the new games; my wording isn't too specific.

Starom, if the magazine you're talking about is one of the first, rather than one that came out after the games were released, I'd love to see images of what you're talking about regardless of which nation it's printed in.

The magazines that would be most useful are the first three or four issues of Nintendo Power that dealt with it, and Pocket Gamer Magazine. That one looked like this:
