Preferred Pet?

I'm fond of both, but more so dogs. I'm allergic to felines. Really allergic. I always come home and hug my dog everyday, so I'm probably just a bit biased.

Cats. We've had both cats and dogs in my house, and while I used to think dogs are better, after getting my own cat that doesn't scratch me, I've learned to simply adore him. That, and unlike dogs, cats haven't really made any part of my life miserable.

Cats. I've had too many negative experiences with dogs (being chased, being bit in the rear end) to ever want to have to put up with one of those vicious beasts. And I find cats to be cute.

If I consider only the pets that reside within my household... I'd pick my dog any day. My cat is a miserable piece of work who, since day one, found a suitable perch just so she can yell at us from.

Dogs. I'm very allergic to cats. But its not that. I've had dogs my whole life (if you consider 14 years a life). Plus, i used to have a cat when i was little (until i found out i was allergic and had to go to the ER), but they scratched me and hissed at me a couple times when i sat next to them. My Uncle's cat also scratched me a couple times for no apparent reason... I guess cats think i'm a scratching post or something. >_>

Anyway, i know think dogs are more loyal. Dogs know you as a life partner and as a friend they rely on, while cats are just like "Yeah, so i'm just gonna live in this human's house, and sleep all day. kthxbai." And dogs are usually more active and playful (well when they are young, anyway). I'm not saying cats aren't active. Believe me, my cats were very hyper. It's just that dogs in general are more playful and active.

Well that's just my opinion. I have nothing against cats or cat owners, i just think dogs are slightly better.

Cats. Although I can't have em because my sister is allergic, I hate dogs as they always go doo-doo on the floor. Even after PT, they STILL do it (Litter Box FTW). Cats are more friendly, they may scratch and bite, but dogs TACKLE you. One time, I had a dog that nearly knocked me out. Also, dogs are very irresponsible. They don't do anything.
