How much do you think HeartGold and SoulSilver will be sold in America for(Or an other country infact)? Will it be the usual 35$ or more because the addition of the Pokewalker?

I suspect there will be a little markup, like the addition of the WiiSpeak with Animal Crossing for Wii.

I'm not really sure what the market value of the PokéWalker would be though, as I've not seen a lot of it o.o

That's true, I was thinking maybe around $40 sounded fair enough

$40 after the original game is $35? I'm pretty sure they'll milk us for more than that.

With my example of City Folk - the RRP for the game is $49.99 while with the WiiSpeak the package is $69.99. The PokéWalker is probably going to be another $15 - $20.

Yeah the price could be well in the 50s 60s price range.

I'm sure the game will be sold at the same price as any other DS game with the same standards which is roughly $69 AUS in Australia. FireRed and LeafGreen sold at the same price as GBA games with the same standards despite coming with a Wireless Adapter.

in japan they've not topped the price with the addition of the Pokéwalker, it's stayed at the average ds game price.

    standard DS game: 35 USD
    Pokewalker: ~15 USD
    -----------------------------
    total: ~50 USD

But so you seriously think that that little piece of plastic pokeball would be worth $15?? It probably costs $1 to make.......I don't think it will go up to 50 or 60 bucks but I'm jsut hoping they keep the price reasonable.

It's a pedometer with an LCD screen and some programming, and it's able to communicate with the DS. It's DEFINITELY worth $15.

It's really hard to say in New Zealand, Emerald was $140 when it came out of course no one bought it so they dropped it to $70 after a week, so i really can't say how much it will be for me

Did the FrLg games cost more when they had the wireless adapter added to it? Because I think we should think of the Pokewalker as the wireless adapter (though are two different things). If the addition of the wireless adapters made the price of FrLg increase, then the Pokewalker might make the price of HG/SS increase. I honestly hope I don't have to pay extra for this game just for a Pokewalker. I want to be able to afford both Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

I was hoping it'd stay at the regular price, but I have an optimist side when it comes to spending money.

    I think it'll be around $50.00. That's how much add-ons are usually...

I think it'll be the normal price, as FR/LG didn't cost more with the Wireless Adapter. But then again, a Wireless Adapter isn't like a Pokéwalker... I guess €40-50 here in Europe.

I hope it sticks to the regular price here in Australia; we're ripped off enough paying $AU70 for each game when that equates to $USD57 (although the exchange rate is rather high at the moment) and you guys are paying $35 :P. I don't think they'll change it, honestly, at least not in Aus, if they're nice (but they won't be, profit's profit).

Normally, in the UK, the new Pokemon games are around £29 to £35. I expect Heart Gold and Soul Silver to be the same price range. Maybe going up to £37.
