Hi I'm writing a fan fiction and it has swearing in it, but always get star in its place and tried different fonts and wont work. And I have to improvise with !, @,$, etc,

My question is it possible to dodge the profanity filter?

It should be fine if they warned readers ahead of time for profanity. This actually inspires me to make a thread about art, censorship, and pornography. Sometimes the lines can be so fine and yet so broad at the same time; it's a level of taste, isn't it?

It is possible and in fact not difficult at all. (I'm not sure how legal (forum rules wise) it is though to actually tell you how to do it so . . . yeah.)

    Apparently it is legal too.

If you have swearing in your story, you have two options:

1.) Keep everything uncensored, but have a warning beforehand that your story contains swearing.

2.) Censor part of the word, because a line of asterisks looks rather tacky

If you swear in your story, you won't get in trouble.
