I need help with PSO Episode I & II for Gamecube. I have played Episode 1 on Dreamcast before but I could never beat the boss of the game.

I have no idea what Episode 2 is about.

Do you mean Dark Falz? If so that's not too difficult, though your class and equipment would be useful in giving you concise instruction.
Episode II is mostly eyecandy—the areas are lush; consequently they are not nearly as EXP-dense as Episode I. There's some fun to be had there, but the time spent going through Episode II isn't worth its rewards, usually. You should still do it once, I guess.

Did you get PSO EpI&II Plus? If so that has the tower offline, that gives you a little more to go on, I suppose.

I've played both episodes on my gamecube.

Depending on your class, DarkFalz may be harder to beat that with others. For example, a FOnewm will need a very high level to make it through Dark Falz, unless it's carrying a super rare item that can provide extra protection for Dark attacks from Dark Falz, extra HP or MP or defence.

Episode II is a simulator. It simulates Ragol.. but in the end something happends and will make you go through all the new stages and bosses (some reasemble to EpI.. makes sense as they build that simulator based on the Ragol creatures).

If you ever play online, drop me a PM and we might be able to arrange an online game :P

    Plus?

I've never heard of the Plus version. Is that out in the US?

Yeah. Though if you have EPI&II already it isn't worth a reinvestment.

Very true. Plus is out in the US, but if u've got already the Ep1 & 2 games it's not worth it. It does include some extras, but it's not a big deal. If you do play online all of the added things on Plus will be covered.

Plus added some quests and rare items obtainable when playing online on the offline mode. They also fixed the dupping cheat/bug. That's about it :P

Blue Burst seems kind of interesting though. I think they finally got rid of client-side saves (Not sure though…I just was on my old PSO board yesterday)
As a result to unlock a lot of the quests they're doing a "total kils" thing for the entire server. Sounds different, I guess. @_@ Why they don't focus on more major changes than stuff like this, I dunno.
And *lol* you have to be level 100 to play on ultimate. I got there under level 40, easy back in the day. ^_^

Does anyone know if there are ANY rare items that you can get in normal difficulty (besides the Soul weapon)?

By the way, my character is a Hunter (Human Male) at Level 25. I just entered the ruins. I have a Ice Autogun +7 as my weapon. It has a 20% bonus against Dark attribute creatures.

That'll work well on the first form..try to pick off the darvants (the small purple spinners) with it, then equip a Pallasch if you have one and go for one of the head. In his second form try to keep your health up as he casts gizonde and gibarta, then go at him with your best melee weapon once he stops and is vulnerable.
Make sure you have a decent frame, and fill it with as General/HP's you may have. That'll be more important than attack or accuracy.

Also what're the stats of your mag? Really at your level you should be fine, as long as you pack sufficient healing. If you've been relying on resta, try to use mono/di/tri mates in the battle, perhaps setting them to shortcuts as well.

If you find any scape dolls on the way down the ruins, telepipe up as soon as you do to bank them—save them for Falz.

Rares don't begin to drop til hard, and they'll do so according to your section ID.

My mags stats are as follows:

    Name: Varaha
    Level: 62
    Synchro: 120%
IQ: 0 (I hate that too)
    DEF: 13
    POW: 23
    DEX: 14
    MIND: 12

    Photon Blasts: Farlla, Golla

Any suggestions? I have two other mags in my bank.

Start feeding it nothing but Sol Atomizers to raise its strength. It won't help the IQ, but once it's maxed on strength then you can use star atomizers to get that back up.

Thanks for the advice. When DOES the strength max out?

Mags cap at 200 total level for all the stats combined. That's why you want as much of it to be strength as you can going towards that cap.

ok! thanks. One more thing, how do you take the monster parts they sometimes drop and make weapons out of them.

    Enemy Weapons

An enemy part can be converted with Dr. Montague's help. But since Dr. Montague is in Dr. Osto's Research or Unsealed Door quest, you would have to clear certain quests to gain access to the right quests.

To convert an enemy part into an enemy weapon, take said part to Dr. Montague in the Dr. Osto's Research quest or Unsealed Door quest. Dr. Montague can be found in front of the door to the Ragol teleporters on Pioneer 2 closer to the teleporter to the Principal.

You can convert enemy parts into weapons on any difficulty. It will not affect the outcome of your weapon

Thanks Kairi. Now I just have to get some parts. What's that weapon that Dr. Montague is holding?

Bringer's Rifle, I believe. It comes off the arm of the Chaos Bringers in ruins. It's a rifle, and only not equipable by FOrces. How he equips it is just eh. @_@

cool. thanks! Now I just have to go beat Dark Falz in normal mode (I've finished every mission).

Moving on... I just love the Tower Quests, they are both cool. They are hard to with a lv.80 Fonewm online, but I use have lots of fun when playing as a team. FOrces are so important in a team *goes reviving everyone with his spells* XD

    What is/are your favourite online/offline quest/s?
