Woah, those are really cool. :O I'm noticing you're using the same border for all of them, and that's not the best habit, but those borders fit really nicely with the banners.

The colors on the 'Nights' banner are really cool. That whole 'purplish' thing.

My favorite is definitely the Mario Galaxy one, the cyan sparkly thing is awesome. I do think the saturation on the thing needs to go down a bit though.

Great job though, I like 'em! ^^

Those are not very good, I am really close friends with a graphic internet arts major who is minoring in internet graphics and creations and some of his work makes that look like childs play. I guess you have to start somewhere though, considering you aren't majoring in anything like graphics its actually pretty good. I really like the ASH one. Thanks,

Can you stop ripping on others work? I think they are lovely to tell the truth. If you don't like them make some yourself and show us all how it's really done then

I wasn't "ripping" on the work just making an observation that it was amature, that doesn't make it bad. I like to draw sometimes and I think they are pretty good but compared to people who majored in drawing they look silly, just like the banners look silly compared to someones who majored in internet graphics and arts.

I think they are lovely to tell the truth.

Things that look comparatively amature compared to proffessionals can still be lovely, I think they look pretty good too.

If I take a dump, say its a flower, and then insist people who challenge my claim SHlT out a flower, they will never ever SHlT out a flower but it will prove nothing about whether or not my original dump is a flower.

It's great that your friend is majoring in graphic art, but that may be precisely the reason why his art may be so much better. I can tell you that very few of us here major in graphic art, so please do not compare our work to professional work. It's simply unfair because we do this for fun. I would advise you to think in advance how people will react to your words in the future, because what you said actually rubbed off as quite rude, whether it was intentional or not. Remember, tones and emotion aren't conveyed very well through pixels. xD;

You will be getting a red infraction for censor-bypassing, and a yellow infraction for flaming/flame baiting. Just be a little more careful from now on and they shouldn't affect you at all, alright? ^^

How about NO. It is my right to compare what I wish to compare. How do you have the right to tell me NOT TO COMPARE work to work that is better, what are the criterion to which I must adhere when comparing artwork according to Xenocrates? Do I need to take into account education? What about age? Years working or amount of professional experience? Access to graphic editing software? Why don't you just send me the algorithm through which I am required to run all my possible judgements before making them so I can make sure and not get RED FLAGGED again by a power hungry moderator.

I understand the swaring bypass one but definately not the other. It is my opinion that you are incorrectly using the power you have on this forum without thinking about how you use it first. I think they all look great. I wish I could do stuff like that. I use Photoshop CS2. But have never done anything like that. Really nice.

The Moogle and Ash Ketchum ones are my favorites.

So, in the post I quoted, you just compared it to the professional work. But did you include anything to make him improve? And it is stated in the rules to do so.

When criticizing a graphic/photo remember to explain in detail what you are getting at. No flaming, and be helpful. Constructive criticism is the key. Try to make your point in a way that doesn't rub off as rude.

I love them a lot. Even though you only used the font Century Gothic, it still matches with the banners really well. My favourite would be Moggle one because the stock looks cute. ^___^

Oh! And since your banners are nicely done and attracting, (They are also blended well as well!) I'd like to ask if you used a stock or a render if possible? It's amazing work in 2-3 months too. (I can't believe it!)

To make him improve... I don't know, go to school. Does that really change anything? You are just being nitpicky and trying to be a hero. He can take crticizm i'm sure you aren't his mother stop crying because I called him on posting amateur work and pretending it was proffesional grade.

I'm going to ask you to stop spamming, disrespecting other members, and flame-baiting. It's fine if you believe I'm abusing my powers, because you're still getting a red infraction for disrespecting other members even after being told not to. Your opinion is perfectly fine, and I have absolutely no qualms with the fact that you dislike the graphic art posted, but I would highly appreciate it if you would try to word your opinion in a kinder way. If you want to discuss this further, then please PM me, instead of posting in this thread.

In the meantime, PikachuTrainer, I apologize for the disruption in your gallery. Hopefully it stops after this post.

I don't normally comment on art threads, but I have to say I find your banners particularly attractive. I too particularly like the Mario Galaxy one. Probably because I'm attracted to shiny things... like a bug... *shot* But one thing I can comment on (with my lack of graphic making skills) is that the text doesn't seem to really mesh with the rest of the banner all that well. They just seem... out of place. Other than that, they're great and far surpass anything I could do. :D
