    i'm kinda... i dunno. i don't like punk, like i said in my first post on this thread. ocationally there's a good punk band, but i really prefer ska (which is like punk to a degree, only they throw in horns and geekyness)

    punk rock is another name for pop punk only it doesn't sound as wussy. (at least that's how i see it)

    There was a band back in the 1980?s called Surf Punk, and they had a song called Ride The Wild Surf from an album I can?t temmeber the name of.

    The point is that it shouldn't be a joke. They're so many bands that only talk about how they want their girlfriend back, sound like girls, and make 'punk' stand for something that it has never standed for before.

    I have nothing against bands that make love songs and such, but when EVERY stinkin' song is about it, it really annoys me. Don't these people have lives anymore?

    Then again, a number of my favorite bands that are partly 'punk' are huge violaters of this XD

    no. whiners are annoying and without lives... "all they do is whine about how much their girlfriends hate them!" (that's a quote from one of my movies where's i'm a psycopathic KoRn fan)

    i'm not realllly a psycopathic korn fan... i am in a movie. i carry a bunch of knives and in the end of the movie i end up being the hero. (it's my brother playing "the girl all the bad guys want" by BFS that drives me to the point of insanity)
    but ya... i don't even like korn irl. i'm an indie/ska kid

    That song is so sweet. I remember seeing them at Warped Tour. They gave us a nice break, when the lead singer of NOFX got out his instrument case from the back and said to all of us
    "Hey what's this?!"
    *he points to small item that he pulled from the case*
    "Heh, this is a Weed Smoking device!"

    He started singing lots of Jamacan songs while he smoked his heart out infront of us.
    Obviously, their last song was "Seperation of Church and Skate" :P
