Question about Chansey coin in Mewtwo Mayhem theme deck

    I bought a Mewtwo Mayhem theme deck from Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago, and opened it yesterday. The cards are pretty sweet-looking with their original artwork and of course holo Mewtwo.

    I did notice something quite strange though with the included coin. I have watched several openings of these theme decks and all of them got a pink Chansey coin with cracked ice holo effect. However, I recieved a solid raspberry Chansey coin with rainbow holo effect. This was not like the coin advertised on Bulbapedia as well as other sites. At least 15 different sources have stated that the cracked ice pink Chansey is the one you get in the theme deck.

    Did I get an error coin or something? Would it be worth more, being a mistake coin?

    I did several google searches and could not find anything on the coin I have, nor did Bulbapedia list it in their large list of TCG coins.

    Did anyone else recieve this type of coin in their Mewtwo Mayhem? Thanks for your input. :)

    Probably a printing error. Well, it's either that or a pressing error in the process of making the plastic. Though there aren't too many people willing to shell out all that much for the plastic coins, to my knowledge.

    I did get one of those decks and can open mine and check in the morning.
     
    Hmm. Really weird. I may post a picture later today of it.

    i watched a YT video that was uploaded last week and the guy got the same coin. It must depend on when you bought it?

    Yes, everything at PTCG goes through print runs, its probably just a run that used it. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it!
