does there happen to be an easier way to make these? just kind of curious. because im trying to make my npc have more realistic move routes, like move all over the town like a normal person would. but its a pain to have to count out each tile, then go and add the amount of times they step in a move route, then have to go back and fourth between counting tiles and adding them to the moveroute. it would be nice if I could just add them as I counted or something lol

You could just set them to random.

Or alternatively you could use that improved random script as a jumping-off point to implement some sort of path finding algorithm (e.g. A*, D* or Dijkstra's). Then you could just tell each NPC where you wanted them to go and they'd walk there. Could mix that in with some random wandering around before they choose the next place they want to go and it would probably look alright.

That sounds like a cool idea actually! I've seen the random walking improvements script before but never looked into how it works specifically but it would be great to have point on the map that I just designate like that! Maybe we can look into that soon haha
