3rd Gen Question regarding Ditto and breeding

    Hey, if I give Ditto an Everstone and breed it, will it give its nature to the hatched Pokemon? Even if it has to be the "male"?
     
    Yes, it will, according to the breeding guide in Strategies and Movesets. Ditto's nature may be passed anytime by using a everstone.

    I do believe that this trick only works in Emerald, and then DPPt. Same with the secondary effects of abilities (Flame Body halving egg hatch time etc)
     
    Having Ditto (or a female Pokemon) hold an Everstone will cause the baby to receive the nature of the Ditto(/female) 50% of the time.
     
    Good for my health indeed, even if it's takin ages to get that Adamant Tyrogue. -.-

    Will Magma Armour reduce walking steps needed in FR? That'll cut my time down for sure!
     
    I never knew about the ever stone helping with breeding, I will have to try this out soon.
