    Hey guys,

Just a quick question seeing as i couldn't make a poll.. What program do you use for your webdesign?

    1. Frontpage
    2. Dreamweaver
    3. Notepad
    4. Other (of so list the name)

i personally use dreamweaver but its not for everyone. So post away guys.

Notepad is what i use all the way:
P.S. My 100th post coming soon.

    notepad
P.S. no one cares about your post count.

I use HTML Kit and Nescape Composer. I like Nescape Composer the best but I use HTML Kit when I need to edit code.

this is what i use since i started
    notepad + refresh (started)
    html kit (2nd)
    dreamweaver mx 2004 (latest)

    LMAO @ v-road..

Yeah, i started off in Notepad now i hand code in dreamweaver like Shining Arcanine since i use PHP.. and plus, dreamweaver has a good FTP.. and its for people with expensive taste.. or a good cracking system :P

I use FrontPage because it's easy to handle, sometimes Dreamweaver MX as well. If I need to drop into code (which happens a lot) I'll usually use FrontPage's HTML view, but sometimes I use Notepad or HTML-Kit - Notepad is simple, and HTML-Kit has excellent debugging features.

For putting the pages together, I use CuteHTML. I got the free trial version of it about 2 or 3 years ago and it hasn't stopped working yet. I just get a brief pop-up that I close before the program starts up. I like its tabs, search/replace feature, and quick tags (i.e., Ctrl+b gives you <b></b> :3).

As for graphics, which are part of web design, I use Photoshop Elements. Almost the same as Photoshop, but apparently not as good. @_@

I write everything in notepad, but I use dreamweaver when I wanna set maps on images. That's basically it :P. Everything else is handwritten... Most of the time when I'm using free scripts or even the maps that dreamweaver generates, is poorly coded so I have to edit them to be valid.
It's not hard to write everything in Notepad when you only use div tags and and use stylesheets for everything :P. However when sites use tables (Not a good idea) reading all those table codes get confusing very easy X-(. So I can understand that many webmasters who still use tables would like a program to highlight codes and tags...

Notepad for content writing and layout tweaking (Adding Links and whatnot), I use Dreamweaver for the layout just because I can click to the bottom half and not half to save and gointo the internet...

For Graphics I use Paint Shop Pro 7

If it's graphics we're talking here... I use Fireworks MX, Photoshop Elements 2, Paint Shop Pro 5, PhotoImpact 5, Oriens GOLD Enhancer, GIF Construction Set, Animation Shop 1, and a bunch of other things XD

I use FrontPage, completely. Dreamweaver loads slow on my computer, so I did away from it.

I know what you mean, I have a slow computer too so I started one site in Dreamweaver but switched it to Frontpage (it was also easier to handle the includes). Dreamweaver I use a lot for CSS, as it has excellent features for that.

I use Dreamweaver for Layouts mostly because I want a visual of the work that has been done. I use Photoshop 7 for the graphics although i'm not good enough in it.

I use FTP Explorer and WS FTP LE for uploading.

I code stuff by hand in Notepad and WordPad most of the time... and if I got a php code that comes up with an error, I go into Dreamweaver to find the direct line.

For graphics I use good ole Paint and Photoshop CS. (Just upgraded from 7.0)

And uploading... I use whatever I want. Sometimes I use CuteFTP or SmartFTP, but most of the time it's WS_FTP LE

Yeah, i didn't even know there was a Photoshop CS.. i guess i will have to download.

With FTP i use cute FTP and FTP Voyager.. i find them the best.. abnd plus on Cute FTP i can upload at 600kbs and upwards.
