6th Gen Questions about the Shiny Rayquaza event...

So, I plan on getting the Shiny Rayquaza, but I wanted to know, if the event is only available through OR/AS or other games as well? Secondly, is there a way of getting it with the specific nature I want, by using synchronize from a ralts or something? Also, if I do get it with the nature that I don't want, then can I just turn off the game without saving and try again, or is it a one time thing no matter if you decide to save or not? Thank you all for your insight/advice, it is greatly appreciated!!!!! :)

Synchronize works on event Pokemon and you can soft reset for it.

2) Synchronize works with event pokemon
3) You can soft reset and receive Rayquaza again
