6th Gen Questions I have!

    First, let me say hello!

    The last Pokemon game that I played was Blue....yes, blue way back in the day. So I have a couple of questions about somethings in Pokemon X.

    1) Is there a way to put a Pokemon in a certain box when you catch it? I know that you can go to the PC and do it there, but I made boxes for each type of Pokemon and I would like it if after you catch them you could send them to a certain box without having to go to the PC.

    2) So I am about 25 hours in and only have one badge. My goal is to collect all the Pokemon in the game so I have been doing that wile I go from place to place because of the story. My question is, would it be better to do this after the game? Am I going to be over powered for the gym leaders?

    1) nope, gotta sort em yourself.

    2) you should be fine as long as you turn your exp share off.
     
    I personally liked catching a few here and there but once you get a level 60+ with False Swipe catching becomes very easy.
    Its personal preference though.

    Gym leaders in this game were easy for me. Only one (no spoilers) gave me trouble.
     
    I prefer to catch all the Pokemon later. Then I have a high leveled False Swiper with back up skills. I suggest bringing along a False Swiped and something that can Status the Pokemon you find. Sleep and Para are best. That way you don't lose a Shiny or anything bad.
     
    1. Oganize boxes is the only thing i know.

    2. (Spoiler maybe)Post game unlocks legendarys so it maybe more beneficial to wait till then to try and complete your pokedex. You'll be backtracking anyway and that way you can get two birds with one stone. But I feel your way is fine too Its more a preference thing I guess.
     
    Welcome to PC!

    1) - When you capture a Pokémon, it automatically gets sent to whichever box is next in chronological order. It's easy enough to go to the Pokémon Center and use the Organize Boxes feature to make any changes needed.

    2) I personally find it easier to progress through the game trying to capture all Pokémon available in a specific area upon reaching that area. If you turn the Exp. Share off then you shouldn't be too over leveled for the gyms.
