Questions Regarding Ashs Journey into Isshu/Discussion

    Questions First:

    1) I thought Isshuites start Pokemon Training at an earlier age, does this mean Ash will be older? Or will Iris be older? If so, why didn't they stick with White?

    2) Will Ash be taking a plane to get there? :o He's from Route 1 and Iris be from Route 1 as well...

    That's all I can think of. So let's discuss what we think Ashs Journey into, and during, Isshu will be like. He's definitely taking plane to get there. But why? Aren't there other Regions in his Province to explore...

    Note to certain people - This is not a "Ash should be older" thread even though my first question seems to make it seem like it is. It's a "What will Ashs Journey to Isshu be like, and what his Journey in Isshu, with Iris, be like".

    Is Isshu the English name?
     
    No one knows the answers to any of those questions. Isshu probably won't be the name though and I would guess that they'll all be 10 at the start as well.

    I assume that Ash will go there since someone mentioned it to him. Maybe Gary or Reggie? I don't know really but someone who had visited the region before.

    My bet is Reggie or the Legendary Trainer
     
    The english names for the regions are pretty damn close to the Japanese names. So it's a safe bet that the name will be Ishu.

    And the thing about having to go a long distance to Isshu because the routes restart at 1 is actually quite an interesting concept. I think that may be the way it'd be played out. +_ I want to see Ash in an airplane. Hell, I want an airplane to crash in Pokemon.

    And Ash is Forever Young. 10 years to be exact. No aging, No time continuum.

    An Airplane did crash in Pokemon.
    Did we forget the begining of Orange Islands?
    I'd love to see this new series start off with Ash in an airplane.
    It'd be new and fresh that's for sure.
    Ash will likely remain 10 for a very long time, I don't care :)
     
    That was a Blimp/Airship in the Orange Islands.

    I hope he ages slightly, although it'll be even weirder having older Ash AND Brock (who's a grown-up) travelling around with a 10-year-old
     
    ^ Brock is only 15-years-old so if they were to age slightly he wouldn't be considered an adult. If they were going to age Ash at all though I would guess that they would do the same for the female.

    But if I'm not mistaken aren't blimps considered planes in the anime? I mean they had the blimp airport when Lyra and the other guy left to head back to Johto right? The only other plane I have ever seen was when the Battle Factory Frontier Brain met Articuno in the sky.

    Kanto- spearow/fearow
    Johto- pokemon stolen
    Hoenn- Pikachu Stolen
    Sinnoh- pikachu again. (really? they coulda though of something new!)

    Isshu: it would be cool to see ash in a plane again and like it crashed and yea. sound great :)

    wat? If brock is supposily 15, then why does he hit on girls that are obviously in their mid 20's like (almost) every nurse joy ever.

    Where'd you get that at? I don't recall Brock's age ever being revealed. :\ I don't believe any of the main characters will be aging though. If they couldn't use the B&W Female because she's older and they couldn't de-age her in the show, then I doubt they would even bother aging Ash or the main group.

    On another note, Ash getting to Isshu would either be by boat or airplane, preferably airplane. This is one good way to prevent Brock from continuing on with Ash as Isshu is a disconnected region from the rest. As for the plane crash, I like that idea. I wouldn't be surprised if it was caused by Team Rocket though. XD;

    Doesn't hurt to look around. Revealed in early concept art if I remember correctly but I'm too lazy to make sure that's the case.

    Oh, and he likes older women by the way.
     
    One thing crosses my mind. If in the US Anime, the gang are in the US (donuts not rice cake), then if Isshu is "far away" will Ash be going to another Country meaning Isshu isn't based on New York afterall... Or not...

    The gang are still in the corresponding places of Japan to their respective region. It's just that when dubbed in the US the show becomes more "Americanized." Hence they change rice cakes to donuts. It's a silly alteration to be honest. For instance, there are some cases when Team Rocket has a rice cake in the Japanese episode, but when dubbed they change the art from a rice cake to either a sandwich or cracker.

    Isshu region is based to be far away, however it's still unknown to how far and even if it's based on a real country in the world. It could just be very well made up with various influences from different places in the world. So, right now no one could say for sure.

    God I love the fact that there is no space time continuum. Heck, in that world, I could divide by zero if I wanted to.

    It'll be funny is Iris and Co. don;t understand a word Ash says, that's if they're in America and he's from Japan :laugh:

    Ok, how about this...

    Team Rocket make an airplane and steal Pikachu and crash land Ash in the place he needs to be not without a good old battle from Team Rocket?
    Kill two birds with one stone :P
    I'd actually like to see nothing happen to Ash this time, just him and Pikachu get there safe and than maybe Team Rocket try and steal it.
    We all know, sooner or later Team Rocket will try to...
