Quick question about some cards

I have a red gyarados reverse from HG/SS series, at the bottom of the card it says 123/123 that mea its the last printed one? also on a promo HO-OH I have at the bottom it says HGSS001 what does that mean,

No. That is it's "Collector's number", basically just a way of letting collectors know which cards in the set they don't have. They wouldn't be able to make any money if they only printed 123 copies of the cards in the HGSS set.

The answer to the second part is it means it is one of the promo cards from that set of cards.
