Quick Question on Pokemon XD connecting....

I am halfway between XD, and before I finish it and waste my time, I was wondering if you could connect by using a GBA?

I have a Wii, GBA SP, and the Link cable to connect. But I was wondering if the Cable can connect to the Wii? The Wii does have a slot to but it in, I think. Any help will be appreciated.

It does. Slots in the same place as the Gamecube controllers do.

Funny that this came up in another thread recently as well although more as a sub-question.

You will need a GC cable, you can't use the GBA link cable, though.

i dont think you can trade pokes between XD and the GBA games until you beat XD. but you can play quick battles with your GBA team(s) even if you just bought the game.

True. Also you have to do things in the GBA games (e.g. FR/LG - get the gems to enable trading).
I do remember during the time gap that the TO replied thanking about having the answer being answered...
