3rd Gen R/S/E DuoSpecies Challenge

I'll update the leaderboard. I'm still trying to breed for a Shroomish with good IVs. So far, its not going well. Other than that, I've achieved Master Ranks and gotten paintings in 4 of 5 Contest Types. Since my Pokemon for the challenge have remained unchanged since last time, no Pokemon need to be added.
 
My DS DIED over the weekend and I did't have my charger with me x-x

okay same team as before. again utterly phailed at the battle tower at an 18 streak. i finally beat the kingdra and on the 18th fight i was down to my swampert and he had a golem.muddy water missed then he used explosion and killed both of us.
 
Well, not much of an update here. I altered Breloom's moveset a bit (it gained a level while breeding in the Day Care), and decided to throw in a filler Pokemon instead of attempting to breed a good Shroomish. I got to the second fight before a bad call on my part in the third battle: I had Breloom Double Team, and Mightyena was able to hit with Iron Tail. Since Breloom was at low health, it died. Blaziken took care of Mightyena, but a Crawdaunt came in and ran through Blaziken with Crabhammer. My filler Pokemon (Dusclops) also fell pretty easily.

Update:
Alakazam now level 61, same moveset
Gardevoir now level 61, same moveset

Attempted elite four several times and I kept losing because psychic moves do not affect the first trainer's pokemon, and the second trainer has moves that are super effective to my pokemon... so I decided it was time to take a break
and try to make some money so I could buy items...
Currently I have made $60000 with my "Bag Of Money" Technique :]
Will be updating soon. :]

Now at $80000 with my "Bag of Money" technique [Not a glitch or hack, just ask, I will tell you how to do it ;]]
Gardevoir's and Alakazam's Psychic's both have 16/16 PP, that's 6 more than the original 10/10 PP.

Gardevoir now level 75. I was training Gardevoir in the elite four, Made it through the first 3 elite four trainers without potions >D.

Nothing to update on Ruby. Just posting to say that Yuoaman has PM'ed me, and since his Sapphire cartridge freezes on a constant basis, he will be dropping out of the challenge.

Update 3


-Tooooooooooo much happened since last time for me to want to type everything
You guys know the story...
-I got the rest of the badges
-Mossdeep leaders were the only real troublemakers, took two tries.
-Cocoa Rain got to Lvl 49 after this gym and learned Hydro Pump
so I spent some time looking for a blue shard so I could evolve it.
-Cocoa Rain evolved :t272:
-Fought to the Elite Four
-Flew to Fallabor and stocked up on Revival Herbs and Energy Roots
(Who needs happiness??)
-Faced the Elite Four
--Cocoa Rain handled Sydney fairly well
--Cocoa Rain needed to be strong for Phoebe as well, and was of course
--Glacia was Nilla Snow's time to shine
--Drake needed a combined effort from both
--Cocoa Rain @ Miracle Seed using Giga Drain took care of most of Wallace's Pokemon
while Nilla Rain's Shock Wave was able to finish off his last one, Gyarados
*--All of these required a few revival herbs and a full restore/energy root or two

Here it goes. So Far:

-Started Emerald and chose Mudkip.
-Raised Mudkip to Level 8 and beat May.
-Raised Mudkip to level 14 between here and Rustboro Gym. Also caught a Zigzagoon to use as HM Slave.
-Mudkip evolved after beating Hiker in Gym.
-Defeated Roxanne with ease.
-Beat Team A guy, recieved Pokenav, and Defeated May before leaving Rustboro.
-Arrived in Dewford and raised Marshtomp to level 24 in gym, before defeating Brawly.
-Went through the cave, and gave Steven the letter.
-Went to Slateport and caught Oddish Lv 13 (Just past the city edges) and took it to the beach and raised to level 17.
-Completed the Museum and Trick master's house.
-Defeated May, again.
-Arrived in Mauville, and beat the breeders on the way to Vendanturf as well as other trainers to evolve Oddish.
-Got third badge.
-Battled some Trainers northwards of Mauville.

-Beat team magma's maxie on the... 7th try? Coffin was OHKO'd against all four of his pokemon, and Bishop is too slow and kept flinching/missing D:
-Bishop evolved into Lairon :3
-Beat flannery first time XD (Thank you confuse ray and attract!)
-Am about to face Norman, should be easy with a pokemon who can't be injured by his attacks and one that has x4 resistance. All his pokemon have faint attack x-x Went STRAIGHT THROUGH all his /trainers with Coffin, except the OHKO room, where he surprised me with a pursuit attack D:

What me and Potato have been doing is throwing in a random filler Pokemon that is untrained to use in battle. I added TMs to my filler Dusclops, I'm not sure what Potato did. However...

When you get to the Battle Tower/Frontier, there are challenges that may require you to have three Pokemon. If that is the case, you may use a third Pokemon, but only if it abides by all of the above rules.

The above rules are: no egg moves, no trading from another game unless it is for evolving, and it wasn't hacked. Leveling up is not encouraged, but is ok in this circumstance.

As for my update:

There's no way I can win 35 in a row with two lvl 66s and a lvl 50 Pokemon in the lvl 100 bracket. Therefore, Blaziken and Breloom have been getting up to 100 with some training at the E4 (I've beaten them about 10 times now lol).

I've also won all 5 types of Contests in the Master Rank. As a tribute, I'm not only going to post my Pokemon for the Battle Tower, but I will post all five winning Contest Pokemon that I used.

They should be level 100 by this evening, then I will update you guys with stats and moves ;D

I'm just gonna train another Abra up to Lvl 60
like you were going to do with Shroomish I believe, Skip Shot,
but I have to keep it a Kadabra thanks to the rules of the Frontier....:disappoin
 
I've decided that I'm just going to bring my mule "stripes" in with me.
Just so I have 3 pokemon, and only use my two pokemon...

You can train it, its just not encouraged.

Yeah, but breeding for a good Shroomish is proving to be hard. I attempted to complete it at first with a filler Dusclops, but it proved to do nothing. Once I get a good Shroomish egg, I'll be training it as well.

My training is going okay. I hope to have Breloom and Blaziken up to 100 by tomorrow. I have a few Shroomishes that I can use for breeding a good Shroomish as well.
 
After some quick Elite four grinding.
Alakazam is now level 97 :]
He will be level 100 soon.

Gardevoir is level 82 still, but I am going to train him to 100 after Alakazam is level 100 :]

Update:
Alakazam is now level 100 - Looking for a twisted spoon.
Gardevoir is level 91 - Training to level 100, going to give him leftovers

._. I one shot KO'd everyone in the Battle Tower
But a trainer sent out shedinja and I had no moves that affected it.
So I am taking my latios with me and teaching it fly. :\
