All right, time for my first update.

General Info:

- Chose Mudkip because it can learn 5 HMs
- Got the PokeDex
- Caught two Raltses
- Helped Wally catch a Ralts
- Got to Rustboro and beat Roxanne

So Yeah, I start off, Pick Treecko, blah blah blah beat my rival, blah blah blah, you know the rest. Heading out to Route 102, I decide to hunt for good natured Ralts, specifically one Calm, one Timid. I find a Calm one with Trace quickly (Yay!), but I can't seem to even get a Timid one. After wasting all my money, I decide to go with a Modest Trace one :P, as well as a Hasty Trace one :P Oh, so you can see my number of wasted Ralts...

So I need to get ONE of my Ralts Confusion (So I can just abuse it to get the other one EXP), so I use my Treecko to bait EXP.

After moving through Petalburg Woods (Using Treecko on the grunt, as Confusion would be useless :P), I abused Double Team as much as possible to pass my below par defenses to beat Rosanne (Is MC Hammer's Can't Touch This playing?).

Saved Peeko and such, and finished off training on Makuhitas to no end.

Ok, I'm not join cuz I'm a total noob but, Thinks of 3 Hariama's in the EliteFour.
Or worse. 3 Ludicolo's
 
just want to let everyone know I'm still doing this but am delayed until I can find my sapphire cartridge or get get a gba emulator to work on linux.
Also on that note if anyone is willing to help me get an emu to work with linux I would be happy.
 
-Started with mudkip
-Got wally his first pokemon
-Defeated the aqua grunt
-Is looking for a second skitty (*Hasn't encountered one in about an hour*)
-Caught a shiny poochyena, but still no more skitty....They're extinct I tell you.
-And crashed it ._. Have to start over tomorrow. Nevermind, turns out I savestated. I felt like a retard after that ^^;

On Linux you can use the Linux Version of VBA, google for VisualBoyAdvance Linux.
then you write in a terminal; VisualBoyAdvance [Path to gba file]
or you can use VBAExpress, that let you change configuration and pass arguments and start a game graphicallly.

Can't you use your starter as a monospecies?:\
 
I'll take Wurmple, just so I can actually have 2 different pokemon, despite the fact they come from the same pokemon. Heheheh
