r/s/e music to fr/lg

Hey, I was wondering, is there any way to get pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald music to Fire Red or LeafGreen? I like rse music more than frlg, but Fire red is better rom for hacking.. is it possible? how? (i'm a beginner rom hacker btw)

EDIT: As you'll see in the first thread, a person was able to put an entire song from Golden Sun into Fire Emblem. Pretty much the same thing that you want.

uhh.. is there any tutorial to import song into the rom?

1. Export the MIDI from R/S/E
2. Search for pointers (to instruments) in that MIDI
3. Go to that offsets and copy the instrument's bytes and search for them in FR/LG
4. If exists -> replace pointer in the MIDI with new pointer to FR/LG offset
4. Otherwise -> copy instrument to new location and and replace the pointer

At least this worked for me back in the days.

Yeah, this is easy to do with some knowledge of how to use the modded Sappy. The only problem is FireRed's RSE drumkit is missing samples, since they only carried over the ones needed in the two songs from those games that FR/LG uses. I am currently trying to get help to no avail in porting over the RSE drum kit to FR/LG, particularly the Emerald drums which are the most complete. Once that's done, the rest of the instrument samples are already there and it's a simple matter of dumping tracks, importing them to free space, then changing the voicegroup to match the original instruments used in RSE.
