Update:
1. Defeated Magma grunt, got a great ball as thanks.

2. Went through Rustboro and trained in Route 116 to train up.

3. Went to deafeat Roxanne, took me three times to beat her.

4. went and beat the Magma thug AGAIN and rescue Peeko

5. Went to Deford and defeated Brawly

6. Went to Granite Cave and saved at second last ladder.

Rules
-This is NOT a race.
-All duel types are allowed. EX-Breloom is Grass/Fighting.
-No spamming
-No flameing
-No hacking
-No cheating
-No gamesharks
-Even if the type you want is taken you may still use that type so long as that no more than three people are doing it.
-If you want to do a Dragon or Ice monotype you have to either trade a Dragon or Ice type over from another game or not do that type, considering those to types take a while to find.
-You may use your starter up until you get a the Pokemon of your type.
-If your starter is your type then you may use it.
-The challenge is over when you beat the Elite Four for the second time.
-Now anyone can join anytime you want even if all types are picked.
- You can catch Pokemon that is not of your type (like legendarys) but you can't use them until you finish the challlenge.

If I think of more rules I'll post them. Please try to update as much as possible.

I will be starting a water monotype challenge on Sapphire.

Because I feel like it, and you all know how I love... swampert. =]

That shouldn't have been two sentences. I'll get started right away.

I was lectured by Professor Birch and chose to be a boy this time, because Brendan is cute. ^^; I named myself Arren and was off!

I found out I had the pwnsome ID of 58858. Excellent...

I introduced myself to the strange woman who "thinks" her daughter is upstairs. Wouldn't she have to pass through the lower floor to exit? Hm...

I chose my starter, a bashful male mudkip which I named Aquamarine. I defeated May, trained Aqua to level 10, and received the Pokédex. I am now working my way through the trainers on Route 102.

Well, anyways, guys, I'm back, I'm really sorry, my computer got all fixed up, and I got a few things. I've been real busy with life... and Diablo II, among other things... >.>;

Anyway, I PROMISE I will finish my poison-type challenge. I promised long ago, and I won't break it! I will finish it... And I'll try to be more active here, too. I'm really sorry, everyone.

Oh, and Saphira, thanks for missing me. ;3 I know you did.

I'll post an update soon, big or small, I promise. I'm a man of my word. ;D
 
I am currently working on a fire/flying type only challenge. The fire being my first pokemon flying being something I can catch easily on the way. My game started out like this: Pokemon chosen:torchic level 5.

Ah, but it's a MONOTYPE challenge... meaning... only one type, not two. D:

That doesn't mean... hmm, here's an example: You can still use Sableye in a Dark-Type monotype challenge even though he's part ghost.

Basically, dual-types are allowed so long as one of the two types is your selected type for the challenge. Like, whether you did fire or flying, Charizard would be usable (if you transfered him over, that is). For fire or flying, though, that's not really necessary... you can easily complete both challenges on R/S/E without transfering pokemon. There's a wide variety to choose from in Hoenn...
 
Grrr. Bugs are being too much of a compelte and utter pain. I'm afraid I'm going to have to switch to grass =/
