    Okay, so We already know that there will be Gold and Silver Remakes,
    But what about Ruby and Sapphire?
    Do you guys Think this will happen, eventually? and Remakes will be made?
     
    why would they make remakes for games that aren't even that old?
     
    Yeah this is not happening. As long as you have the DS before DSi, u have access to all regions now. If they remade RSE then they would have to do RBGY again so it can all be played in DPPt graphics.

    It may sound stupid, but I believed the whole, Heart Gold and Soul Silver idea sounded stupid too.
    It COULD [Rather unlikely] be made when RSE reach that 10 year mark, too.
     
    maybe 10 years later when there is a new gaming system with a new game experience to take advantage of

    but i dont think so because it wasnt as popular as the first two generations IMO

    i dont think a lot of people would want a R\S remake as badly as they wanted R\B and especially G\S
     
    I don't think there'll be a R/S remake, or, if there is one, it won't arrive for quite a while. A ton of people have GBA's and DS's which play GBA cartridges, so unless Nintendo continues the DSi or creates an entirely new system with doesn't play those games, I don't think they'll make a remake. Also, they aren't old games like RBG (when did RS come out? 2003?)
     
    I don't think they would try to update R/S just for a DS. Maybe when a newer more powerful system comes out, but I don't think the upgrade from GBA to DS is as significant as Gameboy to DS to warrant a remake.
     
    If they ever remake R/S, they'll also have to remake FR/LG. The reason remakes are made are so that it is easier to transfer Pokemon between generations. If it ever gets to the point where transferring between generations becomes near impossible (might nto be too far away, DSi has already ditched GBA slot) then they'd remake these games. However, HGSS might include more Kanto Pokemon so they'll only have to remake RSE.

    Going by the popularity the remakes so far have had, R/S/E will probably get re-makes eventually.

    But, not for a while, seeing as they are actually pretty recent. :\
     
    Following the current trend, RS remakes will be made for the DSi at some point, probably a few years from now. Basically at the point where the DS has become obsolete and the DSi is the system EVERYONE has.

    Then again, it may be on a newer system since new systems seem to be coming out faster than they did at the time of Fr/Lg

    I'm sure they'll make them eventually, though. They'll do anything to get more money and keep people interested in the series.
    Even if RS wasn't the most popular set of games, there are certainly plenty of people who would buy remakes.
     
    They won't make remakes of RSE until they make a new system. It isn't difficult to get pokemon from those games now, and it won't be until DS-lite is obsolete. I don't see the demand for remakes of those like there was for RB and GS either, probably because the games themselves aren't as good, and there are few pokemon from that genreation are actually useful, unlike the previous two.
     
    I don't think we'll see anymore remakes until we absolutely can't play the games anymore.
