Raichu

Wow...raichu. Sure wish I was better at using it, but meh. Thunderdance is a useless combo IMO, unless you have a pokemon that has surf and maybe even swift swim. Raichu can't survive the turn to set up the rain, so maybe a focus sash would be a good item. The sets above are pretty good, so I'd use one of those.

Also, why have thunderpunch with rain dance? There is no combo with the two at all...

Also, HP water, if you do use thunderdance, is a great option as an attack.

Meh, thunderdance=waste. I'd use grass knot for ground types on nearly all the special sets too...and of course Tbolt.

But then he's hurt by, I don't know, Rock. No sarcasm, really unsure. Although Boltbeaming works, s I hear.
 
MEh. Focus blast deals damage to rock types...if you're using this in OU, I'd use grass knot for rhyinferior and swampert...and let's not forget raichu's stellar support movepool, despite having poor defensive stats to back it up.
 
Try Tbolt and HP ice for coverage...boltbeamers away! Remember, like I mentioned earlier, raichu can T wave, wish, and do stuff like that to support your team...light screen I think, so yeah.
 
Hes the support master XD!yeah like Anti said Raichu can assume Many rolls and fit them pretty well!
 
ok, these are great movesets.

However I don't have all the tms for it so this is the best I can do:
grass knot
thunderbolt
agility
focus blast

but i don't think focus blast is good. I mean, grass knot can already get rid of the rock types. I'm also thinking light screen or something.

What's HP ice?

Actually, Raichu has an above average sp.atk. And great speed. Agility + Focus Sash is not needed.

Raichu gets 320+ Speed with a Timid Nature. That's more than enough to outspeed anything within the UU Class. Nasty Plot because Power is the main thing that matters.

Hidden Power (Ice), is a Pokemon Attack, teachable by TM10 (Hidden Power). It operates depending on the IVs of the user, so in other words, you need to breed Hidden Power onto there.
 
yes it is very hard work but it is worth it!you can have a move of any type with HP all it requires is a little time!
 
It took me a half a year to get HP fire on my vilplume...sob. But yeah, just make suer you use focus sash if you decide on nasty plot raichu.
 
u cant get volt tackle thats for sure but plz try breeding it u can make it better and i have a lvl100 raichu im not attached to it instructions:

1. get a light ball [u have to catch alot!! of pikachus to find it]
2.breed them
3.hatch it
4.if its not a good nature re due steps 2 and 3
5.once at a good nature ev train it
6.evolve it at lvl 2 first[if possible]
7.train it to lvl100
8.then put all the moves u want on it *cough* gras knot *cough*
9.u have a great raichu!

o if u haveing trouble in evs go to eterna forest go into mansion fight gasliys i got like 14+ sp.atk in there it had pokerus tho its sp.atk now 300 or higher

thats how u get a good raichu
