    "hi". There, that's over with ;)

    I'm considered a PokéFREAK by most of my friends (yet I still learn new things about Pokémon regularly), I love Japanese Rock music (Miyavi, L'Arc~en~ciel, Kannivalism, SuG, Girl U Need..), I love.. ..oh wait, that's all in my profile, no? Silly me.

    My favourite Pokémon (all-time) is Vaporeon. I have one of Lv 100 on my old RED game, named Vapsy, and it's still my favourite :3

    Uhhm.. Why I'm here.. ..Because I like to meet new people, of course :D I also like learning new things and new skills (like I recently learnt how to edit sprites, lol) and those new things/skills then become an obsession of mine. ..until a new one arrives ;) But I never forget my "obsessions", or drop them, I just get slightly less obsessed about them XD

    "Raika" isn't my real name. It's a name I made myself back in.. ..uh.. ..2002. Woah! I've been using it for 6 years now! Funky. :P if you must know, my real name is Marjan. It's pronounced more or less like the French equivalent Marianne.. ..except the ending -n is short (the last "ne" aren't pronounced.)

    For the Japanese: it would be written "Maryan" in Romaji ;) For some reason my name is only pronounced correctly in some countries (Finland and Japan are 2 of them) because the letter J is usually pronounced as "dj" (as in Japan) while it should be "y" (as in Yellow)

    Just do me a favor and stick to "Raika" or "Rai", please..

    If you find a "Raika" on any forum, chances are it's me. Unless there's also a Raika0072002. Then thàt's me. 007 = James Bond, 2002 = year I started using the name ;)

    Holy moly, how in the world did I miss this thread?! :O Such an epic introduction, Rai, nice job! :D I love it when people put effort into their intros. So, hi Rai! First off, onslaught of smilies for the win. XD Oh cool, a Vaporeon fan. I'm a pretty huge water type fan myself, Vappy is a great Pocket Monster. I agree with earlier comments, interesting username. It looks like you'll have an incredible time here, so have fun. Welcome to PC! :D

    Beachboy.. ..you just made me smile! :D And thanks ^_^ I'm rather sick and tired of those "introductions" that just go "Hi I'm new. I hope to enjoy myself." and never tell anything about the person whatsoever. Private is private, I know that, but.. ..how can a community welcome and learn to love someone who doesn't want to tell their story? (or at least part of their story)

    But it is a great site.

    On a totally off-topic note, my brother is making "dino" noises again - he clears his throat and it sounds like a small dinosaur doing a hiss-and-roar-at-the-same-time sort of thing.
