~Random Pokemon Challenge~

Got some updateage going on here...

The cave was easy as pie, as well the slowpoke well. I dealt with Bugsy quickly, but almost died to my rival with a level 26 Croconaw! That part has always been tough. After getting Hm01, I caught Paras for my HM slave (for now) and taught it flash and cut. I cleaned the slate with all of the trainers and went up to the national park and the route before to expand my party. I caught a lvl 12 Nidoran Male, which I named Madness, just because... come on! Nidoking is pure madness! I went into the national park and then caught a Sunkern which I named Gaahl. He's one of the most evil and brutal people I know, and it is only fitting that he name is given to a sunflower seed :)

Currently at the Goldenrod Pokecenter; I need moar training... Gaahl is going to be very hard to train! Suggestions? I hate bait and swap since I'm addicted to the spacebar and can't navigate the menu at 9000% speed. I need to find a good place to train her... Anyways. Whitney is next.

fight brock for the fifth time. Beat brock by poisining onix. Now im going to viridian forest to catch Pikachu. First for misty then to evolve into raichu. So far i have Charmander, who evolves into chartmander for the competetion. I still need.

Just an FYI, the Cast List is to be condensed except for when I get a new member.

• Went on the S. S. Anne with the ticket I got from Bill.
• Beat Gary and killed his Raticate.
• Got Cut and taught it to a random Meowth that I caught. The Meowth will, of course, not be trained.
• Went into Lt. Surge's Gym. Got trounced.
• Taught Brick Break to Doctor - that made everything easier.
• Realized that I forgot the Everstone at Mt. Moon and, until I get Fly, I'll need to prevent Doctor from evolving. Urgh.
• Took on Surgey again and... lost. Ew.
• Remarked that I knew I should have done more training on the S. S. Anne, but sucked it up and went to pit Doctor against the random Oddish army of peril.
• Eventually decided to postpone the Lt. Surge battle and go find some Everstones in the Dark Cave. Necessary total: two. Method of obtaining: ...catch a bunch of Geodudes until I find one? Uh, no thanks. Doesn't Thief have a TM?
• Well, yes it does. But like everything else important in this playthrough, it's in Mt. Moon, which is past the Cerulean Point of No Return. Aargh! Oh well, looks like I'll need to beat Surgey on my own terms.
• Stocked up on Super Potions and, after some training, went back to deal with the good Lieutenant once and for all.
• Beat Surge with ease, once I got past the Voltorb.
• Well, at least I'm capable of using Fly now, so I can go back to Mt. Moon and get the stupid Everstones... now if only I knew where the HM was...
• Bonus thought: Who else thought the machines in the Power Plant, Surge's Gym, and the Rocket Hideout looked like creepy faces? They scared me when I was a kid, I admit...
• Found TM Aerial Ace on the next route. Made a mental note to teach that to Leon when I catch him, if he doesn't learn it on his own.
• Clawed through the next route and finally stood before the daunting Dark Cave. What awesomenesses wait for me in there? Well, you can just wait 'til tomorrow to find that out, can't you? >3
• Realized that the Everstone is in front of Dark Cave and not Mt. Moon. Figured I'd be Thiefing a lot of Geodudes later on, and that I didn't feel like buying seventy more Pokéballs so I could catch twenty species, I gave up on that prospect.

1. Because of school coming up, and since it's senior year, I wanna be completely focused.
2. If it's for the DS, I know I can cheat, and that makes it longer and more boring for me, because I know I will.
3. GBA games are easier for me to handle.

Caught a Ralts, named him Lametto.
(Held on to Mudkipz to battle Team Aqua's Poochyenas, but deposited before gym.)
Battled Roxanne, and miraculously won. (Crits ftw.)
Caught a Whismur, and named him Homer.
Battled Team Aqua again.
Battled Brawly. Solo'd gym with Lametto.
Delivered letter to Steven.
Arrived in Slateport.
