Update #1!

Larry Yawns As he wakes up, (At 10' a clock at night no les...) "Wonder if I'm late" As he looks at the clock he exclaims "No wonder it's so dark it's 10' a clock!" Jumping out of bed he runs down the stairs.... Intent on running straight to Prof. Elms lab. Only to be stopped by mom.

"Hey! Your pokegear is back from the shop!" She exclaims. After getting it from her and telling her he doesn't need any help remembering how it works Larry bolts for the door.

Prof. Elm has some very exciting news, Elm wants Larry to go on an outing with one of his pokemon to pick up a very special egg all the way outside of Cherrygrove city! What an adventure!

Larry picks Cyndiquil as his starter and Leaves The lab every bit as fast as he left his house, after kissing his mom on the cheek Larry bolts for route 29 And a straight shot for Cherrygrove city and Mr. Pokemon's house!
After battling a whole mess of wild spinaraks rattatas and hoot-hoots oh my! But finally battered and bruised Larry and Cyndiquil make it to Mr. Pokemon's house, only to run into Prof. Oak, apparently a Prof. with more influence in the far off kanto reigon than Elm has here in Johto! After a very nice talk Oak runs off to get to Goldenrod and his radio broadcast. (I'll have to remember to listen for that) Thinks lary.

After A nice rest with Mr. Pokemon Larry reverently places the egg safe in his pack and is off again, at lightening speeds as always Larry makes tracks for New Bark town to give the egg to Prof. Elm.

But before Larry makes it to New Bark he is sidetracked by a strange trainer with long red hair and a terrible attitude, and a totodile that was tough as nails. After a close fight Cindiquil won out and Larry headed back towards Newbark town.

Back home in Newbark, larry realizes that the trainer he met outside of Cherrygrove had stolen that Totodile from Professor Elm! After giving his name and discription to the police Larry remembered to give the egg to Elm. Elm is puzzled by the egg but he finds the time to tell Larry he thinks that he would make a great Pokemon trainer! What a surprise!

Elm sets Larry on the path to Pokemon greatness with a glimse of a future of Gym badge win and powerful Pokemon beside him Larry sets off once more for Cherrygrove town.

Problem is Cindiquil isn't so intrested, So striking a deal between himself and cindiquil that the Pokemon would help him catch a new pokemon to battle with Larry sadly looks for a Pokemon to train.

Larry finds that Pokemon in a female Geodude off the beaten path. And true to form sends Cindiquil back to Elm and focuses on His new Geodude which he named Boulder.

With a new determination Larry and Boulder head towards Violet City and the first Gym leader Falkner. Meeting new trainers along the way Larry and Boulder's bond and their strength as a team is incresed and by the time they arrive in Violet City they are both confident they can defeat any thing that comes their way.

As they battle with the two bird Keepers in the gym Boulder only gets stronger as she Battles and sweeps them both easily. After a quick pokemon center visit. Larry heads back to the gym. And in a very anti climactic battle Boulder one hit K.O's both of Falkners prized bird Pokemon.

Zephyer badge in hand, Larry and Boulder are passionate and determined to defeat every trainer that comes their way and become the greatest pokemon battling team ever.

Wow that was long... Anyway here is the screen shot for proof that I beat falkner

My team so far is just Boulder and she is lvl. 13 she knows: Tackle, Defense Curl and Rock throw.

After playing a couple of hours yesterday I went and researched where I could find members of my new pokemon team I realized that both Magmar and Ninetales were unobtainable in Firered (nooo!). Forgot to put in my restrictions of being unable to trade/hack.
Mind replacing those 2 for me? >.>

Try to keep the chit chat down to a bare minimum guys, we don't need seven posts telling each other "Thank you for the Pokemon".

Anywho, update time.
Didn't get to do as much as I had hoped to.
I got my Mudkip and beat May, continuing to the route and caught a Lotad. Immediately began leveling up and retreating to the Pokemon Center a few times. Got my Lotad up to level nine before leaving the route. Headed up past Petalburg after meeting Wally and defeated the Aqua Grunt (loser).
Headed straight for Roxanne's gym and defeated all of her Gym Trainers inside. Went to the route just to the right of Rustburo before battling her, Causing Lotad to evolve.
Deafeated her pretty easily with my new Lombre.
Saved, quit. Will continue more tomorrow and maybe a little gameplay tonight.

-Picked a Treecko (Torchic should be a cake walk for my team)

-Immediately went to route 103 To get a Wingull (Lax nature | Lvl.2)
-Went through the forest while leveling up Wingull
-Faced Roxanne First two Geodudes where nothing but her Nosepass took out 39 of my 40 HP and I used a super potion, Confused it and won.
-Saved game and quit

Eevee's Poke Adventure!

Eevee the boy(who's really a girl) is accosted by Prof. oak, picks a squirtle, and heads off, picks up a package cause that fat old man won't walk for 20 seconds to pick it up .3.

Gets some balls, and makes a friend called Dexter, somehow encounters an Aerodactyl and captures it with one of my balls. Ditches Squirtle, then goes to train up Aaron the aerodactyl. Battles gary again, abuses his pokemon into submission, and gets another 500 bucks. Dahdahdah....

Update #2!

(Nothing wordy this time, boredom was the reason for the longer update last time.)

Anyway Larry and Boulder went on a few adventures today and ended up with two new friends and a brand new shiney badge!

By two new friends I of course mean the ever lovable Fang the growlithe and Wiley and sarcastic Willy the Bellsprout, Both became amazing additions to the team and both got on well with Boulder.

After training them both until they could keep up with Boulder and Larry's pace. Larry left Violet city for Azelea town and the next gym.
Problem was Bugsy was busy and Rockets were disturbing the peace. And more importantly Larry's bid for Pokemon training supremecy!

So after recruiting a firey old man named Kurt to help out Larry headed for the local well. Problem with recruiting old men? They are clumsy and fall down wells. They're also not very durable... After falling through the well and hurting his back Larry, Boulder, Fang, and Willy were Left to fend for themselves. But then they were used to that and cleaned up the rocket trash easily. After helping the old guy back to his house Larry was rewarded with a lure ball. Which is pretty cool, but the real prize? A chance to go one on one with Bugsy for the second Gym badge.

Sadly Bugsy and his cronies were every bit as disapointing as Falkner had been, and Fang cleared the room in short order.

And with that Larry and his Pokemon friends are two gyms into a lifelong adventure. Stronger and more passionate than ever.

Qwilfish is obtainable before E4. It has a 2% appearance rate. Looks like you'll have to fish with that Good Rod a bit.
