Update #3!

And so we find Larry once again on the path to a Pokemon championship! This time his target? Whitney and the plain badge in Goldenrod city. But to get there he has to first overcome a thing or two.

The first obstacle that happens to be in our hero's way? His rival that no good evil trainer with the long red hair is once again blocking Larry's path. The only thing to do is to fight and defeat the man and show him once again that love and care beat cruelty and strength.

Coming out first was Fang Larry's powerful Growlithe fresh from his victory over Bugsy and still looking for more. Growlithe would go toe to toe with his rivals ghastly. After a short battle Fang is the one left standing. Next comes croconaw who is an easy victory for Wiley old Willy. who knocks him out with two blows. Finally comes out Zubat who has no chance against Rock steady Boulder. After trashing that Long haired punk Larry moves on into Ilix forest, where he corrals a Farfetch'd for some random wood cutter guys who are nice enough to give Larry the Cut HM. After catching a pokemon to use it (Oddish) Larry quickly advances through the forest. and after running the gauntlet of trainers on the road to Goldenrod Larry arrives in the spot of his next great challenge.

Goldenrod city itself was much to big for Larry's taste so after a little training he headed straight for the gym. He had done his reasarch on Whitney and her trainers and had decided a team effort would do the trick and keep everyone fresh. With this in mine Larry tackled the horde of trainers and small maze seperating himself and Whitney.

His team tactics were paying off big and Larry and his team had made their way to Whitney mostly unscathed. In their battle Whitney began with her Clafairy. Larry threw out Fang. After a close battle where a double slap almost did Fang in, Larry and his pal pulled out the win and Whitney shifted to her heavy hitter. Miltank. Larry switched to Willy... And suffered his first defeat in a gym battle. It was a close one but Willy lost out, and fainted. But Larry always had Boulder waiting in the wings and a Rockthrow was enough to tip the balance in Larry's favor.
But just when Larry was most excited about his latest victory. Whitney started crying! Of all things she just started sobbing... How are you supposed to get a gym badge out of a crying girl!?

Backing up slowly Larry backed right into one of Whitney's trainers who assured him she would stop soon and just go back and try again.

And of course it worked! and Larry got himself a Plainbadge and a TM. One step closer to his dream Larry is walking on cloud nine!

Mind replacing those 2 for me? >.>

Well, those are the only 6 fire types that are available before the Elite 4 (excluding Moltres)...so unless you want to do a non-monotype, I guess you'll have to play with just 4 Pokemon. Again, I'm really sorry ) :

*Edit* Thanks Mal'akh for pointing out that I could get Ponyta before the E4.
Anyways:

• Beat LT Surge!
• Ran back up to Cerulean City and cut into the next path of my journey: Rock Tunnel
• Proceeded through rock tunnel to get to Lavender town
• After recovering I ran into route 8 and found my next member: Stan, the Growlithe :D
• Time for a grind for Stan before going into Celadon city and getting the next member of my team!

So Update time!

Update #4 Since this one is long I'm not going to do it like usual. Just a basic summary of what happened.

First I spent about five minutes trying to remember which direction to go in after beating whitney. (Haven't played in a while) After remembering I headed for Morty's gym. Only to be pushed out of it by a pretty rude old man.

I beat the Komino girls and got myself a new HM. then headed for the burnt out tower to battle the rival and send Morty back to his gym.

After beating the rival and letting the dogs out. (Yes I let the dogs out ;) )
I headed back to the gym and crushed morty with Fang's Dark moves. Easy victory.

After that I headed for Olivine and the lighthouse quest. Surfing across to Cianwood and all that jazz. After helping Amphy out and sending Jassimine back to Her gym. I boogied on over their and went toe to toe with her. And got creamed. Whoops forgot to train fang first.

After grinding fang and willy up to 35 and getting boulder up to a mere 24 Because I'm waiting for an everstone so I don't have to constantly stop him from evolving I headed back for Jassimine and a little payback. After taking her to school it was time to head back to Cianwood and show one more gym leader how it was done. That's right Three more gym's all done. Chuck was easy pickings for Willy's posionus onslaught. And that is how Larry went from three badges to six in just one night.

Alright, finally managed to get some playtime in. So, here's the first update, folks.

EVENTS:​

~Went through all the boring intro stuff; named myself Espeon and my rival, Umbreon.
~Prof. Rowan gives us our starter Pokemon; I picked Piplup, whom I named Prince, as my temporary team member.
~Have our first battle with Umbreon; I defeat his Turtwig with some trouble…that Withdraw really is an annoying move.
~Arrived at Sandgem Town; Prof. Rowan gives us our Pokedex.
~Lucas teaches us how to catch Pokemon (like we don't know already…).
~Arrived at Jubilife. Had a brief run in with Lucas again, and we meet the secretive Looker.
~He gives us the VS. Recorder, completely at random.
~Lucas shows us the Pokemon Trainer's School, where I find Umbreon.
~We give him his Parcel and receive a Town Map; afterwards we meet the Poketch Company President.
~After finding the three clowns, we get a Poketch.
~I manage to trade over a Murkrow for a Starly that I caught along the way; I name our first official member of the team, Patch.
~Raised Patch to Lv. 12.
~As we exit Jubilife City, Umbreon challenges us to a battle. Pretty easy, since Patch has Peck to knock out Turtwig quickly.

Not much has happened. I got the Goods back and saved the Devon worker...again (wuss). Went to Dewford and battled all of the trainers and met Steven (omg<3). Went to Slateport, chased off Team Aqua, battle all the trainers in the area. Saved, quit just before Rival May.

Since I've done a lot since the last update I'll only put important bits.

• Demolished Team Rocket's base in the Game Corner
• Got eevee, quickly evolved it into Flareon and Beat Erika
• Went to Lavender Town and saved Mr. Fuji
• Saved Sliph Co.
• Beat Sabrina( thought she was 5th gym leader >.>)
• Went to Cycling road and got HM Fly
• Went down to Fuchsia City and Defeated Koga
• Got HM surf/ strength and surfed down to cinnabar
• Spent an hour being dumb in the Mansion (Finally got the key)
• Easily beat Blaine
• Met up with Bill and went to One Island.
• Caught Ponyta
• Beat Giovanni @ Viridian City
• Passed through Victory Road and finally arrived at the pokemon league.
