The only pokemon I need help with is my Pupitar. Rate it's move set and post any suggestions if you have a better one. Thanks in advance.

    Pupitar Lv. 43
    Quiet nature
Sorry, I lost my EV data for him
    Atk. 92
    Def. 72
    Sp. Atk. 71
    Sp. Def. 68
    Spd. 60

    Bite
    Rock Slide
    Sandstorm
    Thrash

The nature is fine, probably the best one if you want a boah. You need to evolve him and he won't need Sandstorm then because of his ability. Now then, the EVs should be 252 HP, 190 sp.attack and the rest should be attack. Hold item: Leftovers
    Moveset:

    Crunch
    Focus Punch
    Thunderbolt
    Substitute

    I hope this will help.

Torkoal_7, this is in-game and Boah requires a 31 DV in HP at level 100 because Boah's main advantages over McGar and Blaziken are its 101 subs. Maybe SuperM could (if he has Emerald) Everstone breed the Quiet nature until he has a 31 DV in HP. Of course he could just breed until he got an Adamant or Jolly Larvitar, regardless of DVs. Take care.

252 HP, 190 sp.attack and the rest should be attack.
Wrong. 'The rest' should be Speed. So it would be 252 HP/68 Spd/190 Sp.Atk

Could you do us all a favor, Maxie, and never rate again?

Thanks to everyone that posted and please don't let this escalate into a flame war like my other thread. Keep posting suggestions if you want to, and again thanks.

If you've got Emerald then you're all set for a Boah. If you don't have Emerald or you don't have the ability to trade between your game packs then you'd be better off with DDTar. End of story. Of course, there are others (such as Gyarados) that imo do a much better job DDing than Tyranitar does.

Thanks guy's but I decided to go with the boah. And just incase your wondering here are its stats...

    Tyranitar@Leftovers
Again, I lost his EV data but I decided to train him for what Torkoal 7 said anyway.
    Quiet nature (+Sp. Atk., -Spd.)
    Stats:
    HP-192
    ATK-180
    DEF-144
    SP.ATK-134
    SP.DEF-123
    SPD-98
    --------
Moves: (Just for those who don't know what boahs move set is.)
    Crunch
    Thunderbolt
    Focus Punch
    Substitute

boah fails ingame to to the lack of skarmbliss, use this:

    Tyranitar@leftovers
    Adamant (+Atk, -Satk)
    252 attack 252 speed 6 whatever
    Dragon Dance
    Rock Slide
    Earthquake
    Taunt

but of coarse if its for netbattle you want boah.

Actually my Tyraniboah is doing pretty good in emerald, but I might go with a DDtar when i restart my ruby. I'm just gonna trade a larvitar in and train it from the beginning.

    Anything works in-game. :D

Boah needs Perfect IVs to work because of 101 Subs (404 HP, 31 HP IVs) so don't bother ingame.

    And the set looks OK.

boah is stupid ingame. But u did it already..It should work out ok.
DD-tar is best for ingame use.
I've also seen - fireblast,rockslide,earthquake,DD/crunch..which works well for ingame use..Other than double-team luddy and DT-kingdra that r present in the E4, taunt is of little use elsewhere...
Not to mention both of those pokemon can KO T-Tar fairly easily..Specially ludicolo.
